Bug#858374: network-manager-gnome: nm-applet crashes with a specific router, unless bluetooth is disabled.
Package: network-manager-gnome Version: 1.4.4-1 Whenever I'm connecting to my WiFi at home, nm-applet crashes. Turning off bluetooth fixes this. nm-applet rarely crashes at other places. I do not have any bluetooth devices connected to my computer. This is my kern.log around the crash time. Bug#858369: gnome: Dead keys stop working after killing X (Alt + Sys Req + K)
Package: Gnome-Shell Version: 3.22.3 When I kill X (alt + print screen + k) dead keys stop working. If I try to type an accent (by typing ´ + o) I will get: ´o instead of ó. If I type just the accent, the character appears. It remains this way until the next reboot. I tried switching languages but it did not have any effect. -- Daniel ISLA *Co-Founder* *t: *+52 (55) 5351 0707 *c: *+52 1 55 5966 7341 *fb:* /isla.pw
Bug#410308: [Pkg-samba-maint] Bug#410308: samba: Samba listing system files under backup share
What about adding backup to invalid users in smb.conf fix this problem? It will require to add all system users (I mean all the ones that are in /etc/passwd and are not real users). The valid users = %S option works well for me. Daniel. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

+ valid users = %S With this, at least the default setup will not expose such valid system users home directories to others. But . . . I can't access my non-home shares now, like [cdrom] comment = Samba server's CD-ROM writable = no locking = no path = /media/cdrom users = daniel public = no [usbdisk] comment = Samba server's USBDISK writable = yes locking = no path = /media/usbdisk users = daniel public = no Should I add some parameters to the shares in smb.conf so I can read them again? Tested in sarge and etch, and in i386 and amd64 architectures. Thanks for your help. Daniel. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble?
