Your little program has been a constant part of my Linux desktop since around 
1998. And i had no idea that 2.46, which looks like a minor update from the 
version number, was such a major rewrite under the hood. In the past, i 
configured xdaliclock via a janky combination of window manager hints, 
Xresources, and command line switches. I just played with the new version 
though, and see that if i just resize the window that the font adjusts 
automatically, and if i place the clock where i want it, it will reopen at that 
spot the next time i run it. Perfect! No more need for the old way of 
configuring it. You're right, this is indeed better. Thank you for keeping this 
old program alive!
