The partition (/dev/sda10) was already formatted as ext4 but I wanted its content to vanish, therefore I formatted the partition again as ext4. Right after selecting write changes to disk the installer froze. The progress bar was at some 30% and kept like that. The installer didn't respond. This happened 5 times. Eventually I managed to install Debian 8.1.0 on /dev/sda10 just by formatting the mentioned partition with Gparted from another OS and not asking the installer to format it. The installation process went fine. In case it matters, I have Kubuntu 14.04.02 on /dev/sda7, Debian jessie 8.1 on /dev/sda8, Trisquel Belenos 7.0 on /dev/sda9 and Haiku-OS (a BeOS-like) on /dev/sda11. Hence I installed the bootloader, during the installation process, on /dev/sda10 since I manage grub from Kubuntu. I installed the whole system on /dev/sda10. -- Please make sure that the hardware-summary log file, and any other installation logs that you think would be useful are attached to this report. Bug#742743: lightdm-gtk-greeter: Change the text en-US.utf8 in the login screen with a real name of the languages
Package: lightdm-gtk-greeter Version: 1.8.2-1 Severity: minor Tags: l10n Dear Maintainer, I'm sorry because I'm going to complain, but I don't understand why in the top corner on the right side of the login greeter I read en-US.utf8 instead of English. And if I use an other language I will read, for example, it-IT.utf8. It's strange, I'm not speaking or writing in en-US.utf8 and neither in it- IT.utf8. I speak and write in English and maybe in Italian, French or Spanish. It's a stupid thing but not so stupid if you don't know what it means. Not all the people which use Debian are coders or IT technicians. I think that is a little thing but with a big collateral effect those to ward off the people from informatics because it creates a sense of inadequacy. Bug#703289: docky: In vertical position the last docklet icon is not recognized by mouse
Package: docky Version: 2.2.0-2 Followup-For: Bug #703289 I found the cause of this problem. Bug#703289: docky: In vertical position the last docklet icon is not recognized by mouse
Package: docky Version: 2.1.4-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, I'm using Docky with vertical position on the left side of my laptop monitor and last docklet icon on the bottom isn't recognized by mouse, it's active only a little area, but very hard to find, because too close with the previous icon. For avoiding this problem I put a docklet who I don't need to use but only for looking like the CPU Monitor. The same behavior happens if I put Docky on the right side of the Desktop. It doesn't matter the dimension of the icons or the kind of docket because always the last docklet icon on the bottom is not recognized by the mouse. In the bottom position Docky works normally. I'm using Debian Testing/Sid (Wheezy) and Xfce 4.8 like DE.
