Bug#295739: handle-switch-frame: Symbol's function definition is void: nil
Weird. Have you seen this again and can you reproduce it? Also, does it happen with the emacs22 packages in Lenny as well? Hi, I don't have a Debian system at the moment, but in the Ubuntu 8.10 system I have here doesn't exhibit this problem. -- David N. Bug#127198: emacs21: gnus can no longer read nndraft:drafts
I don't even use gnus any more, so I have no further input into this one. Thanks, -- David N. Welton http://www.welton.it/davidw/ http://www.dedasys.com/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
Bug#291564: /usr/bin/emacs21-x: man pages not formatted quite right
In emacs: Tcl_Filesystem *fsPtr (in) Points to a structure containing the addresses of pro- cedures that can be called to perform the various filesystem operations. With the console man command: Tcl_Filesystem *fsPtr (in) Points to a structure containing the addresses of procedures that can be called to perform the vari- ous filesystem operations. I could not reproduce this, even after making the Emacs frame as small as 65 characters. This may be due to changes in man-db, could you please recheck? As in the other bug report, I'm currently using an emacs package from Ubuntu Intrepid: GNU Emacs 22.2.1 (i486-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.14.1) of 2008-09-05 on vernadsky, modified by Ubuntu And the bug doesn't appear there. Bug#429140: tried with apache2
On 6/17/07, Neil Williams [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: I did an NMU on rivet for Lenny. Most recent upstream appears to be 24-Mar-2005. I have tried to build rivet against apache2 but the build fails. Simple fixes cause a later failure with the (anticipated) API changes between apache and apache2. I haven't heard from David Welton yet. I think rivet may have to be removed - I'll wait some more to see if David has anything to add, then file the removal bug. No, it depends on Apache 1.3 and without some non-trivial amount of coding, won't be easily ported to Apache 2.0, so you can go ahead and remove it. Thanks, -- David N. Bug#376108: I bet this is an X problem
My wife was trying to run PyMol on her laptop, and encountered the same problem. It's actually an Ubuntu system, but the problem is, I'm sure, the same. I'd be willing to bet that it's an X/driver problem, in any case. On her machine, glxgears doesn't even run, for example. -- David N. Bug#289597: tcldom: can't fulfill the build dependencies in sarge
Since there doesn't seem to be any prospect of making tcldom buildable, would you object to a removal request? (I'm just going through old RC bugs; if you want to keep it, that's fine by me.) I don't want to keep the package, but it should be orphaned for a bit prior to removal, IMO, so that someone else can have a crack at fixing it if they so choose. -- David N. Bug#315430: Please update the package
I had much better luck using the chan_capi-cm-0.6.1 code from sourceforge, but it would be preferable to use a .deb. This package is getting long in the tooth - is anyone maintaining it? -- David N. Welton - http://www.dedasys.com/davidw/ Linux, Open Source Consulting - http://www.dedasys.com/
Bug#304615: Still present
We just installed this package on an Ubuntu 5.10 system out of Debian unstable, and this bug still appears to be present. Also: 1) The icon is broken. 2) There is no README.Debian explaining how it's integrated with the system. Thanks, -- David N. Bug#315931: 2.6.2 - kernel BUG at fs/jbd/journal.c
Hello, I'm writing regarding this message on the lkml: http://linux.derkeiler.com/Mailing-Lists/Kernel/2004-06/3087.html I reported a related issue to Debian's bug tracking system, but then I noticed I also got a failure very similar to what you saw, although with Debian's 2.6.8 kernel. http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=%23315931 Did you ever find an answer to the problem? Bug#314408: Debian NPTL seems broken
Both of these bugs seem like reasonably serious issues. I'm not sure exactly which one 'mine' is, but it looks a bit more like 276312: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detailaid=1220692group_id=12997atid=112997 Like the bug Stefan reports, this has caused problems on machines that were supposed to be deployed at client sites, so I will be raising the Severity of the bug. Bug#288759: busybox-cvs vs insmod
Hi, Looking at #288759, I saw comments to the effect that busybox had previously excluded insmod due to bug 85642. That bug is ancient history though. After the release, should it ever happen, I too would like to request that insmod be put back in, because it's much more useful to have it than not for initrd images. I recompiled the .deb, and it's working fine on my 2.6.8 system. Thanks, -- David N. Welton - http://www.dedasys.com/davidw/ Apache, Linux, Tcl Consulting - http://www.dedasys.com/
