Bug#464953: hotfix possibly unstable?
Just mentioning that the hotfix mentioned here: http://www.ping.uio.no/~mortehu/disable-vmsplice-if-exploitable.c appeared to have wedged (crashed hard, frozen) my machine, an otherwise very stable pentium 4 machine running 2.6.18-5-686 (with nvidia oldstable xorg proprietry drivers). nothing in syslog, etc. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#451594: psi: gpg encryption stopped working with recent
I installed libqca2-plugin-gnupg and it started prompting me for the passphrase - but there is no padlock icon when sending messages for someone who I have a gnupg key, the icons for controlling the encryption have gone from the gui. Bug#358002: gstreamer0.10-tools: gst-launch-0.10 doesn't play sound
After consultating with the #gstreamer irc channel on freenode found a solution/workaround to this, and the related rhythmbox bug. - rhythmbox uses gstreamer-0.10 but gstreamer-properties changes the settings for gstreamer-0.8 - so gstreamer-0.10 settings have to be set using gconf-editor - set the setting /system/gstreamer/0.10/default/audiosink in gconf to alsasink buffer-time=-1 which will skip trying to set the buffer at all, and gst-launch-0.10 and hence rhythmbox will work. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe.
