Bug#926103: libifd-cyberjack6: driver breaks with pcsc-lite versions >= 1.8.21
Dear Peter, this bug is fixed in SP13. Bug#745833: closed by Frank Neuber s...@kernelport.com (Re: Bug#745833: [PATCH] Bugfix for new version of pcsc-lite)
Hi Michael Singer, on debian unstable it should be available just in time. On debian testing it take some time (this is not in my hand). But you can build your own package if you need it more early. Bug#683154: libifd-cyberjack6: Please add Reiner SCT cyberjack basic into the lib
Hi Hans-J. Ullrich, the Reiner SCT cyberjack basic is a CCID-Reader. On Linux there is a PC/SC IFD handler libccid - PC/SC driver for USB CCID smart card readers which can handle the basic reader. Please, could you close this bug. Kind Regards, Frank -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
Bug#666661: pcsc-cyberjack: FTBFS: winscard.h:20:22: fatal error: pcsclite.h: No such file or directory
Hi Lucas, Could it be a problem with the libpcsclite-dev on the build system. I don't know how the build system works. On my system it builds well. I just tried, and could reproduce the failure (see attachment). Could you post a diff between your build log (inside sbuild or pbuilder) and mine? Yes, I can do that, but later. Sorry, I'm on travel until 10.4.2012 But the problem is that the new libpcsclite-dev is a multiarch lib (Ludovic explained in the last mail). On my system (Debian 7 preview Wheezy 64 bit) I have the AMD64 lib installed. I build as follow: git clone ssh://git.debian.org/git/collab-maint/pcsc-cyberjack dpkg-buildpackage -b The result is binary package. Could you test this on your system please? On Wheezy it works because the libpcsclite-dev 1.8.2 is installed. Thank you, Frank -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Hi, Am Sonntag, den 01.04.2012, 15:34 +0200 schrieb Reinhard Tartler: But build will fail on all the other Debian architectures. The problem should be solved upstream. Using a fixed list of library directories is a bad idea. The correct solution is to _link_ with libpcsclite to know if the library is found by the linker. I fully concur with Ludovic. Btw, the file can also be examined online here: http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=collab-maint/pcsc-cyberjack.git;a=blob;f=m4/pcsc.m4 AFAIUI, Martin Preuss, the original author of that file, does no longer work on it and Frank has taken over maintenance of the whole pcsc-cyberjack package. Frank, is this correct? Yes that is correct! In any case, I'd suggest to drop the file m4/pcsc.m4 package completely, and replace it with pkg-config, because It seems that pcsc-lite does provide a proper libpcsclite.pc file: http://anonscm.debian.org/viewvc/pcsclite/trunk/PCSC/src/libpcsclite.pc.in?revision=2721view=markup pkg-config does work on all platforms that m4/pcsc.m4 implements (i.e., windows, macosx and linux), and is implemented technically much superior way. Ok, I try to implement that pkg-config stuff ASP. This bug was reported for wheezy and sid. On wheezy I can't reproduce this error. I think it is only on sid, rigth? Bug#664630: PC/SC-software and card reader REINER-SCT Cyberjack RFID komfort
Hi, and sorry for my late answer. I had some Dolomiti Superski in the last days ;-) I installed a fresh Wheezy in a Virtual Box with the SP02 driver from the debian repository. I can see the ATR like you ... http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=664630#50 So the cardreader is working. The problem is that the current moneyplex application does not work with the pcscd 1.8. But there is a beta version of moneyplex available. You can ask the moneyplex suppport to be a beta tester like me :-) This beta version is available in 64 and 32 bit (the old version was only 32 bit) and is working well with pcscd 1.8. The new scheme libudev is supported since 05 Apr 2011 in cjeca32/Platform_unix.cpp line 41. The rsct_platform_create_com function is called during open the reader object. Also the virtual package pcsc-ifd-handler is provided by the debian package (at the moment only in debian unstable) In the future I plan to remove the SPXX suffix in the debian repository which is more or less my development repository. This suffix is important for naming the drivers on the reiner sct website to visualize the patchlevel. You know, debian is not the only one linux distribution (but the number one :-)) If you have more questions feel free to contact me. German is also possible (unfortunately not French, sorry Ludovic) Kind regards, Frank -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble?
