Could you post your old fstab *before* you removed the i386 chroots?
Where are those chroots located?

Bug#635774: u-boot fails to recognize usb storage devices

2012-01-09 Thread Gernot Super
Hey Martin,

just updated the u-boot, everything seems to work fine:

U-Boot 2011.12 (Jan 08 2012 - 21:53:47)
Marvell-Sheevaplug - eSATA - SD/MMC

SoC: Kirkwood 88F6281_A1
DRAM: 512 MiB
WARNING: Caches not enabled
NAND: 512 MiB
In:serial
Out: serial
Err: serial
Net: egiga0
88E1116 Initialized on egiga0

Both, the SSD and my external usb-drive, were recognised and my little
server started without any problems. I'll test further and if i find any
bugs i will report them of course.

Thanks for the update hint and your work of course ;-)

Greets,
Gernot

GNU ld (GNU Binutils for Debian) 2.21.52.20110606"

While the former u-boot 3.4.27 with pingtoo patch worked without any problems,
the new debian boot loader fails on startup:
