2014-06-29 Thread Gilles Crevecoeur
Package: xserver-xorg
Version: 1:7.7+7
Severity: normal

Hi,

I use startx to start Xorg. When I leavei my session I see that message :

*** Error in `/usr/bin/X': munmap_chunk(): invalid pointer: 0xb88dcd48 ***

Bug#725275: initramfs-tools: Version 114 breaks the boot process

2013-10-03 Thread Gilles Crevecoeur
Package: initramfs-tools
Version: 0.113
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

The new version (114) make my sytem unbootable. During the boot,
the system stop with this message :

Begin : Running /scripts/local-premount... resume: libgcrypt version 1.5.3

And nothing seemed to work.
I've tried to boot the kernel provides by debian (3.11-trunk-686-pae)
and the result was the same.

The preceding version (113) works perfectly. And I've downgraded
the package to be able to boot.

Is there an invalide things in my configuration ?

Cheers.

Bug#669631: aptitude: Hash sum mismatch

2012-04-20 Thread Gilles Crevecoeur
Package: aptitude
Version: 0.6.6-1+b1
Severity: important

Hi,

I have this message only with my local repositry on _every_update_ while apt-
get works correctly:

$ aptitude update
...
W: Failed to fetch
copy:/gil/debian/packages/dists/unstable/main/binary-i386/Packages Hash Sum
mismatch

W: Failed to fetch http://ftp.fr.debian.org/debian/dists/sid/main/i18n
/Translation-enIndex MD5Sum mismatch

E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old
ones used instead.

Weirdly, I checked the hashes sums of the packages of local repositry and it
was correct.

For genrating the Packages and the Release files for my repositry I use apt-
ftparchive, the files
seem to be correct.

I generated again the gpg key for my repositry, and the results was the same.

And i'm repeating myself: apt-get works correctly.
But as i have noticed that, a update of the apt package is pending.
I don't known if this has an effect.

For the moment i use apt-get to update when i need to update my repositry.

Cheers.

Gilles Crevecoeur

2010-10-11 Thread Gilles Crevecoeur
Package: openbox
Version: 3.4.11.2-1+enicar
Severity: normal
Tags: upstream

Hi,

When i open the openbox menu with a right click,
and when i have not navigate into it, if
i use the right arrow then openbox exits immediately.

This bug is known by the openbox developer and
he corrects it in the next version : 3.4.11.2
I have successfully build a package with this version
and it shows to be very stable.

Best regards.

Bug#597289: gxine start and abort after initialization.

2010-09-18 Thread Gilles Crevecoeur
Package: gxine
Version: 0.5.905-4
Severity: normal

When I start gxine it aborts with this message :

gxine: magick/semaphore.c:525: LockSemaphoreInfo: Assertion `semaphore_info !=
(SemaphoreInfo *) ((void *)0)' failed.
Abandon

This message comes from libgraphicsmagick3 wich is a dependance of
libxine1-misc-plugins.

I have tried to erase configuration files from home, but it results the same.

Bug#587981: hplip: hp-* tools stop working since python default version is 2.6.5 in testing

2010-07-03 Thread Gilles Crevecoeur
Package: hplip
Version: 3.10.5-1
Severity: normal

Hi,
Since the ptyhon version is 2.6.5 in testing the hp-* tools stop
working. The error message is :
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/hp-info", line 36, in
from base import device, status, utils, tui, module
  File "/usr/share/hplip/base/device.py", line 37, in
import status
  File "/usr/share/hplip/base/status.py", line 40, in
import hpmudext
ImportError: No module named hpmudext

The file hpmudext.so is not present in python2.6/dist-packages
This is the case of others files provide by the hplip package :

/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/scanext.la
/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/hpmudext.so
/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/hpmudext.la
/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/pcardext.so
/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/pcardext.la
/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/scanext.so
/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/cupsext.so
/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/cupsext.la

So, to fix this I have symlink these files in
/usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/
it seems to work for the moment.
