Bug#855013:

For the record, I have also observed this behavior in jessie. Pulseaudio
will mute when coming out of suspend, but only occasionally. I'll try to
get some logs.

I can also confirm this bug with the same package version on Sid. I
assumed it was due to my switching locales recently: glad to see others
are having the same problem.

Bug#743997: vlc: Start time cannot exceed 23 hours

2014-04-08 Thread Greg Farough
Package: vlc
Version: 2.1.2-2+b3
Severity: wishlist

VLC cannot be told to begin playback at more than 23:59:59 hours into
an audio file. Extending this to a day and beyond would assist users
listening to extremely long pieces of music, such as those released by
free culture band Bull of Heaven.

Bug#742662: vrms does not detect non-free firmware added from USB during install

While vrms does warn about the firmware-linux-nonfree package if it is
present, it cannot detect whether the user supplied non-free firmware
from external storage during the Debian install.

Bug#732987: nicotine: Please include patch that fixes downloading from SoulseekQT users

A longstanding bug in Nicotine that prevented downloading from
SoulseekQT users is fixed in the Github repository, but not the Debian
package. I would very much appreciate it if this change found its way
into our version.

Yes, though I did change the password from a terminal in Openbox.

Does it work if you do it from a GNOME session? Openbox is just a window
manager, it doesn’t start other components like the keyring daemon.

I've just tried this in GNOME, and it doesn't work. I get the same message when
logging back in. To my knowledge I've made no changes to the default
configuration of Seahorse, etc.

Bug#635657: Consider adding link to Debian Installation Guide in win32-loader.txt

2011-07-27 Thread Greg Farough
Package: win32-loader
Severity: wishlist

As win32-loader may be the first encounter many users have with Debian and its
installer, it may be beneficial to add a link to the Installation Guide in
win32-loader.txt so they may print it, etc.

This would be especially helpful for the network version (and sites like
Goodbye-Microsoft), since they don't display the install discs' usual web
browser welcome message.
