Bug#1064494: libreoffice-calc: forcing "Wrap text automatically" when moving cells

2024-02-22 Thread HIGUCHI Daisuke (VDR dai)
Package: libreoffice-calc
Version: 4:24.2.0-1
Severity: normal
Control: forwarded -1 https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=159690

Sorry, resending to BTS, not to debian-openoffice.

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

Updating libreoffice-calc (with relative packages) from 4:7.4.7-1+deb12u1
to 4:24.2.0-1.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
 ineffective)?

Opening previously creating file, and moving cell with no-wrapping long text
with no "Wrap text automatically". (not reproducible newly creating file in
libreoffice-calc 4:24.2.0-1)

   * What was the outcome of this action?

The text is wrapped and the corresponding row height is auto-adjested,
and forced "Wrap text automatically" setting.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

"Wrap text automatically" setting should stay.

Bug#1053393: O: mysqltuner -- high-performance MySQL tuning script

2023-10-03 Thread HIGUCHI Daisuke (VDR dai)

Satoru KURASHIKI intends to orphan package,
but he does not have his time. So I do it for him acked by him.

Description: high-performance MySQL tuning script
High-performance MySQL tuning script written in perl that will provide
you with a snapshot of a MySQL server?s health. Based on the statistics
gathered, specific recommendations will be provided that will increase a
MySQL server's efficiency and performance. The script gives you
automated MySQL tuning that is on the level of what you would receive
 from a MySQL DBA.
 .
 Features:
 .
* Memory Usage: Calculates MySQL memory usage at max load and makes
recommendations for increasing or decreasing the MySQL memory
footprint. Per-thread and server-wide buffer data is calculated
separately for an accurate snapshot of the server?s configuration.
* Slow Queries: Reviews the amount of slow queries relative to the
total queries. Slow query time limits are also analyzed and
  recommendations are made.
* Connections: Current and historical connection counts are
  reviewed.
* Key Buffer: Takes configuration data and compares it to the actual
indexes found in MyISAM tables. Key cache hit rates are calculated
  and variable adjustments are suggested.
* Query Cache: Query cache hit rates and usage percentages are used
to make recommendations for the query cache configuration
  variables.
* Sorting & Joins: Per-thread buffers that affect sorts and joins
are reviewed along with the statistics from the queries run
  against the server.
* Temporary Tables: Variable recommendations are made to reduce
temporary tables that are written to the disk.
* Table Cache: Compares total tables opened to the currently open
tables. Calculates the table cache hit rate in order to make
  suggestions.
* Open Files: Determines if the server will approach or run into the
open file limit set by the operating system or the MySQL server
  itself.
* Table Locks: Finds table locking that forces queries to wait and
makes suggestions for reducing locks that require a wait.
* Thread Cache: Calculates how many times MySQL must create a new
thread to respond to a query.
* Aborted Connections: Finds applications that are not closing
  connections to MySQL properly.
* Read/Write Ratios: Calculates the percentage of read and write
  operations on your MySQL installation.

Bug#1053385: O: libclass-std-storable-perl -- Support for creating serializable "inside-out" classes

2023-10-02 Thread HIGUCHI Daisuke (VDR dai)
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal
X-Debbugs-Cc: libclass-std-storable-p...@packages.debian.org
Control: affects -1 + src:libclass-std-storable-perl

Satoru KURASHIKI intends to orphan package,
but he does not have his time. So I do it for him acked by him.

Description: Support for creating serializable "inside-out" classes
Class::Std introduced the "inside-out" model for classes (perldoc Class::Std
for details). Among its salient features is complete encapsulation; that is,
an object's data may only be accessed via its methods, unlike the usual
hashref model that permits direct access by any code whatsoever. However, the
drawback of complete encapsulation is that normal mechanisms for
serialization won't work, as they rely on direct access to an object's
 attributes.
 .
This class provides the class-building functionality from Class::Std, and in
addition provides an interface to allow Storable to freeze and thaw any
declared attributes of this class and any superclasses that were built via
 Class::Std::Storable.
 .
However, in order to let Storable save attributes and construct the object,
it is necessary to expose the attributes of the class to the world. Thus, any
code could use the same interface that Storable does to get a copy of object
attributes and create new objects with arbitrary attributes without going
through the constructor. While the interface CAN'T be used to replace the
existing attributes of an object, it COULD be used to create an arbitrarily
mutated clone of an object without going through its methods. Also, if
attributes are themselves references, then the objects to which they refer
 can be obtained and modified.

Bug#1028036: libx11-xcb1: uim's preedit hangs libreoffice

2023-01-05 Thread HIGUCHI Daisuke (VDR dai)
Package: libx11-xcb1
Version: 2:1.8.3-2
Severity: normal
Affects: src:uim src:libreoffice

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

0. (Create new user)
1. Set LANG and LC_ALL as ja_JP.UTF-8.
2. Install libreoffice-writer.
3. Install uim-anthy (Japanese Input Method),
launch uim-pref-gtk and set 'using Anthy'
4. Install im-config, launch im-config and set 'using uim'.
5. Launch libreoffice-writer.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
 ineffective)?

Input Japanese and convert Hiragana to Kanji on uim's preedit.

   * What was the outcome of this action?

Failure convert Hiragana to Kanji and libreoffice-writer hangs.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

Successfully convert Hiragana to Kanji and libreoffice-writer does not hang.

I just revert below commit with libx11 2:1.8.3-3, this problem is solved.

ximcp/imRm.c: allow XNSpotLocation with OnTheSpot
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/xorg/lib/libx11/-/merge_requests/127

Maybe it's because of uim's side, if so, please reassign this bug to uim.

Bug#1013900: O: sigscheme -- Scheme Interpreter to be embedded

Package: wnpp
Severity: normal
Control: affects -1 src:sigscheme

-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA256

I intend to orphan the sigscheme package.

The package decription is:
SigScheme is a Scheme interpreter, which targets embedded programs.
SigScheme is used as extension engine for uim, universal input method
system. It conforms to R5RS, some of SRFI-s.

It works and has reverse dependency with uim.

My personal life became busy and I finally lost my motivation,
so I intend to orphan this package.

Bug#1013899: O: t-code -- Japanese direct input method environment for emacsen

2022-06-26 Thread HIGUCHI Daisuke (VDR dai)
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal
Control: affects -1 src:t-code

-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA256

I intend to orphan the t-code package.

The package decription is:
This package is provides tc2. the T-Code input environment for emacsen,
which enables you to input Japanese characters with T-Code or TUT-Code.
 .
T-Code is a Japanese input method that doesn't use Kana-to-Kanji
conversion. You can input Kanji characters directly in the same way
of inputting Hiragana. TUT-Code is an alternative to T-Code.

It works and has reverse dependency with uim.

My personal life became busy and I finally lost my motivation,
so I intend to orphan this package.

Bug#996439: O: trayer -- Lightweight GTK2-based systray for UNIX desktop

2021-10-13 Thread HIGUCHI Daisuke (VDR dai)
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal
Control: affects -1 src:trayer

I intend to orphan the trayer package.

The package decription is:
trayer is a small program designed to provide systray functionality
present in GNOME/KDE desktop environments for window managers which
do not support that function. System tray is a place, where various
applications put their icons, so they are always visible presenting
status of applications and allowing user to control programs.

It works and the packaging is in a good shape but it's stalled upstream
and depends obsoleted GTK+2. I'm also not planning to use it anymore.

Jonas Smedegaard pointed out this package "rabbiter" is not for packages

"net" seems more appropriate for this twitter related package.

Description : Implementation of expression for handling things for
mikutter

Diva::Model is a common interface of all resources handled by mikutter.
By handling data as a subclass of Diva::Model as necessary,
you can obtain a common interface and it is useful for cooperation among
mikutter plugins.

This will be required by mikutter package in future.

ruby-gnome2 is GNOME-related bindings for the Ruby language.
This provides many GNOME-related bindings with many dependencies.

But some of bindings do not have proper dependencies by packaging problem,
so users Ruby scripts requiring them are unusable (bug 874365).
This bug has been already fixed in unstable.
Attached git-diff fixes this issue for stretch.

Please consider accepting this as a stretch-pu.

Users need to install native packages to install an extension library
that depends on native packages. It bores users because users need to
install native packages and an extension library separately.
native-package-installer helps to install native packages on "gem install".
Users can install both native packages and an extension library by one action,
"gem install".

Bug 1222171 - Re-establish equivalence between gfxImageFormat and
cairo_format_t. r=mstange.

It would be nice to add static assertions for this equivalence but I don't want
to have to include cairo.h in gfxTypes.h. (Indeed, that's why
gfxImageFormatToCairoFormat and gfxCairoFormatToImageFormat are macros in the
first place).

Bug#793603: kdelibs5-dev: building uim failure with FindQt4.cmake shipped by kdelibs5-dev

2015-07-25 Thread HIGUCHI Daisuke (VDR dai)
Package: kdelibs5-dev
Version: 4:4.14.2-5
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

Forwarded from https://github.com/uim/uim/pull/62 .

uim branch master built failure with kdelibs5-dev.

https://github.com/uim/uim/blob/master/qt4/toolbar/CMakeLists.txt
 project(plasma-uim)

 find_package(KDE4 REQUIRED)
 include(KDE4Defaults)
(snip)

This causes below error:

to NOTFOUND.

files:

I put find_package(Qt4) above find_package(KDE4 REQUIRED) in this
CMakeLists.txt ( https://github.com/uim/uim/pull/62/files ),
so built uim successfully.

BTW, uim upstream maintainer says:

It seems that both cmake-data and kdelibs5-dev have FindQt4.cmake.
 find_package(Qt4) in our CMakeLists.txt uses FindQt4.cmake in cmake-data.
 find_package(Qt4) in FindKDE4Internal.cmake uses FindQt4.cmake in
 kdelibs5-dev.
I think that FindKDE4Internal.cmake should work with only FindQt4.cmake in
 kdelibs5-dev. (without FindQt4.cmake in cmake-data) Am I wrong?

Does kdelibs5-dev have a responsibility of this issue?
Or, does uim modify own CMakeLists.txt?

The delayer library allows you to delay any tasks.
It is similar to priority-queue mechanism.

I am packaging ruby-delayer as it is a dependency of mikutter
for next major version.

latex writer does not write table hline.

for example,

+-+-+
|a|b|
+=+=+
|1|2|
+-+-+
|3|4|
+-+-+

is written below.

\begin{tabulary}{\linewidth}{|L|L|}
\hline
\textsf{\relax
a
} \textsf{\relax
b
}\\
\hline
1

2
\\

3

4
\\
\hline\end{tabulary}

i expected \hline after '2 \\' line.

it may be caused by this commit.

https://bitbucket.org/birkenfeld/sphinx/diff/sphinx/writers/latex.py?diff2=6e80ccdfcea3at=default#Lsphinx/writers/latex.pyF754

reverted this block, then latex writer writes table hline.

Bug#691218: unblock: uim/1:1.8.1-4

2012-10-22 Thread HIGUCHI Daisuke (VDR dai)
Package: release.debian.org
Severity: normal
User: release.debian@packages.debian.org
Usertags: unblock

-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA256

Hi,

Please unblock package uim/1:1.8.1-4.
It fixes RC bug#688233 and removes accidental setting Multi-Arch: tag.

uim/1:1.8.1-2 in testing modifies conffiles by the maintainer scripts,
it violates Debian Policy 10.7.3. So, uim/1:1.8.1-4 in unstable unsets
conffiles to change path from /etc/uim to /var/lib/uim.

Note: uim/1:1.8.1-3 did not fix this problem perfectly.

change summary:

- - use /var/lib/uim for uim config files directory instead of /etc/uim
  (d/uim-MODULES.postinst, d/uim-MODULES.prerm).
- - do not generate and contain uim config files in /etc/uim (d/rules).
- - generate uim config files in /var/lib/uim (d/libuim-data.postinst).
- - use dpkg-maintscript-helper mv_conffile to move uim config files
  from /etc/uim to /var/lib/uim (d/libuim-data.maintscript).
  add Pre-Depends: dpkg (= 1.15.7.2) to use dpkg-maintscript-helper
  (d/control).
- - remove all /etc/uim and /var/lib/uim at purging (d/libuim-data.postrm).
- - add Breaks: uim-MODULES for using /etc/uim yet (d/control).

additional change:

- - unset Multi-Arch: same of uim-dbg, it is set accidentally (d/control).

debdiff attached between 1:1.8.1-2 in testing and 1:1.8.1-4 in unstable.

unblock uim/1:1.8.1-4

nmu vdk2_2.4.0-5.2 . ALL . -m Rebuild against glib2.0 for vdk-config-2
multiarch path (Closes: #656408)

please rebuild vdk2 to let vdk-config-2 use multiarch path.
this occurs FTBFS with vdkbuilder2 (#652173) and vdkxdb2 (#652169).
rebuilding vdk2 will fix vdk-config-2's glib-2.0/include path
then resolve vdkbuilder2 and vdkxdb2 FTBFS.

dai
