Bug#1021449: cargo: Cargo is not able to build minidump-stackwalk
Package: cargo Version: 0.47.0-3+b1 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: hans.wolters@gmail.com Dear Maintainer, *** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** * What led up to the situation? I have a hubzilla instance hosted and one of the channels I own shows a crash and sends it to firefox. I was trying to build minidump-stackwalk * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? I installed cargo in order to build the crates for minidump-stackwalk * What was the outcome of this action? Cargo stated minidump-stalkwalk is only available for the 2021 version, debian stable supports only versions up to 2018 * What outcome did you expect instead? :-) *** End of the template - remove these template lines *** -- System Information: Debian Release: 11.5 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'proposed-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 5.10.0-18-amd64 (SMP w/20 CPU threads) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages cargo depends on: ii binutils 2.35.2-2 ii clang-11 [c-compiler] 1:11.0.1-2 ii gcc [c-compiler] 4:10.2.1-1 ii gcc-10 [c-compiler]10.2.1-6 ii libc6 2.31-13+deb11u4 ii libcurl3-gnutls7.74.0-1.3+deb11u3 ii libgcc-s1 10.2.1-6 ii libgit2-1.11.1.0+dfsg.1-4 ii libssh2-1 1.9.0-2 ii libssl1.1 1.1.1n-0+deb11u3 ii rustc 1.48.0+dfsg1-2 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.11.dfsg-2+deb11u2 cargo recommends no packages.
