Bug#699068: lynx: Cannot Type a Page-Number more than 999

2015-02-02 Thread Hart Larry
I am so-glad others are still reporting this, as some time last year I tried
submitting a Debian bug on this subject. When I view a complete list of Debian
packages, its enough screens where no-matter in frebsd or Debian, I cannot type
more than page 999, whether I have a 35line screen or 96lines. Thanks in advance

Hart

Bug#662893: Will it be an apttitude?

2012-03-10 Thread Hart Larry
Can some1 please inform on how-and-what means we will know when Colin uploads a
fix of this bug? Several times a day I run

aptitude trn4?
Also, I am looking around for any patches, but in Lynx, don't really see links
to specific patches, just that they are available. Thanks so much in advance

Hart

Bug#662893: trn4 max int ruins files

2012-03-06 Thread Hart Larry

Subject: trn4: maxint ruins while saving or appending
Package: trn4
Version: 4.0-test77-3
Severity: important
Tags: lfs

Dear Maintainer,
*** Please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
 ineffective)?
   * What was the outcome of this action?
   * What outcome did you expect instead?

*** End of the template - remove these lines ***
While in an article/thread selector, I type an
a:s file.msg
Since I seem to have no way of piping the binaries through uudeview, I save raw
articles to a file.
Once the saved or appended file reaches 2147483647 it will no longer
increase-and-ruins some of what's already been grabbed.

I am not having an issue in FreeBSD, where I saved a 35GB file.
