Bug#1013353: linux-image-5.10.0-15-amd64: virtualbox vm suddenly stops
Package: src:linux Version: 5.10.120-1 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: imoto.taka...@gmail.com Dear Maintainer, * What led up to the situation? After upgrade the kernel from 5.10.0-14 to 5.10.0-15 * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? Install Oracle Virtual box from Debian fasttrack (6.1.32-dfsg-1~ftoll+2), activate virtual machine running Windows 10, the virtual machine runs several minutes, but it suddenly stops, and virtualbox said "A critical error has occurred". Reboot the system with version 5.10.0-14 kernel, virtual box runs without any error. Reboot the system again with version 5.10.0-15 kernel, virtual box stops again. -- Package-specific info: ** Version: Linux version 5.10.0-15-amd64 (debian-ker...@lists.debian.org) (gcc-10 (Debian 10.2.1-6) 10.2.1 20210110, GNU ld (GNU Binutils for Debian) 2.35.2) #1 SMP Debian 5.10.120-1 (2022-06-09) ** Command line: BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-5.10.0-15-amd64 root=UUID=2fd2ca2e-fa07-4cf1-90eb-e4d7cca176db ro quiet ** Tainted: PO (4097) * proprietary module was loaded * externally-built ("out-of-tree") module was loaded ** Kernel log: [6.503980] Disabling lock debugging due to kernel taint [6.515176] kvm: Nested Virtualization enabled [6.515187] SVM: kvm: Nested Paging enabled [6.515188] SVM: Virtual VMLOAD VMSAVE supported [6.515188] SVM: Virtual GIF supported [6.528059] MCE: In-kernel MCE decoding enabled. Bug#539642: [openoffice.org-base] UPDATE db record fails: [unixODBC][SQLite]out of memory
On Fri, 21 Aug 2009 16:46:53 +0200 Rene Engelhard r...@debian.org wrote: In http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=104088 this was discussed upstream and we have a prospective patch. Can you try whether it works for you? I put the 3.1.1rc2 odbc libs with that patch to http://people.debian.org/~rene/openoffice.org/test/539642/. Can you replace those files /usr/lib/openoffice/basis3.1/program), kill all OOos and try again? Should also work in a 3.1.0 install, or you install 3.1.1rX from experimental. I've tested patched odbc libs. It works fine with 3.1.0, which I have installed. I can update string data, there are no error pop-ups. I'm checking contents of columns using sqlite command (without OO), which columns I've updated from OO-base, and I verify that all columns are updated correctly. -- IMOTO Takashi Voice: 03-5790-6225 Facsimille: 03-5790-6226 [G3] Internet: http://www.imotos.net/takashi/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe.
