Bug#849850: [encfs] segfault in libencfs.so.1.9.1

2017-01-07 Thread Ilario Gelmetti
Followup-For: Bug #849850
Package: encfs

Hi Felix and Timo,
I also got the same kind of errors after upgrade to 1.9.1-3.
Using encfs on top of ext4 and using pam_encfs for unlocking.
The segfault happened while heavy read on the disk (after a while doing
a backup).
Now I downgraded to 1.7.4-5 and no error.
Looking in /var/log/messages I can see (between a message and another I
rebooted and continued using the pc normally):

encfs[2507]: segfault at 0 ip b757a674 sp b09f5ea8 error 4 in

While in /var/log/debug there are loads of lines like these:

Bug#847007: gnome-terminal: "Error calling StartServiceByName for org.gnome.Terminal: Timeout was reached"

2016-12-04 Thread Ilario Gelmetti
Package: gnome-terminal
Version: 3.22.1-1
Severity: normal

Using AwesomeWM on top of Debian testing, can't open gnome-terminal.
Issuing gnome-terminal from urxvt I get:

** (gnome-terminal:7852): WARNING **: Couldn't register with
accessibility bus: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include:
the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus
security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the
network connection was broken.

Error constructing proxy for
org.gnome.Terminal:/org/gnome/Terminal/Factory0: Error calling
StartServiceByName for org.gnome.Terminal: Timeout was reached

The first error line shouldn't be related.
The locale looks ok:

LC_TELEPHONE="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_MEASUREMENT="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_IDENTIFICATION="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_ALL=

Doing the same as root didn't show the problem.

Checking in /var/log/syslog I can find these lines:

Surprisingly trying what suggested in a similar bug report, #819510,
managed to solve the problem until next reboot:

Bug#818554: tails-installer: Fails unmounting the USB: Not authorized to perform operation

2016-03-19 Thread Ilario Gelmetti
Package: tails-installer
Version: 4.4.7+dfsg-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,
if I run tails-installer-launcher while my USB key is mounted, it fails
printing:

 tails-i386-2.2.iso selected
 Unmounting mounted filesystems on '/dev/sdb'
 GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.UDisks2.Error.NotAuthorizedCanObtain: Not
authorized to perform operation
 Tails installation failed!
 udisks-error-quark:
GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.UDisks2.Error.NotAuthorizedCanObtain: Not
authorized to perform operation (4)

In order to reproduce this I can do:

$ udisks --mount /dev/sdb1
 Mounted /org/freedesktop/UDisks/devices/sdb1 at /media/usb0
$ mount|grep sdb
 /dev/sdb1 on /media/usb0 type iso9660
(ro,nosuid,nodev,noexec,relatime,user=ilario)
$ tails-installer-launcher

And I can solve just manually unmounting the USB key:

$ udisks --unmount /dev/sdb1
$ tails-installer-launcher

Additional informations:

$ groups
 ilario cdrom floppy audio dip video plugdev netdev lpadmin scanner
bluetooth vboxusers fuse

running AwesomeWM

It is not a problem of removable bit:
$ cat /sys/block/sdb/removable

I tried installing manually FoxyProxy Standard 4.5.6 and results in a
segmentation fault when opening icedove.
Contacting the FoxyProxy people seems that until when [791645] gets
solved, there's no way to use recent idedove releases with FoxyProxy.

2016-02-17 Thread Ilario
Package: xul-ext-foxyproxy-standard
Version: 3.4-1.1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,
xul-ext-foxyproxy-standard 3.4-1.1 (from testing) can be installed along
icedove 38.5.0-1+b1 (from testing) but the add-on remains disabled in
the Add-ons Manager of Icedove and just a
"FoxyProxy Standard is incompatible with Icedove 38.5.0" is printed.
Upgrading to xul-ext-foxyproxy-standard/experimental is not a working
workaround because of broken dependency pointed out in #742257.
Thanks,

Bug#751252: caff: doesn't send email found no signed uids

2014-06-11 Thread Ilario Gelmetti
Package: signing-party
Version: 1.1.7-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,
caff can sign every key but when it's the moment to mail the signatures of
certain keys with cert-level=1 caff ends with:

 gpg save
 [INFO] key 1234567890 done.
 [INFO] found no signed uids for 1234123412341234567890

and no email is sent.
Then if I reopen caff it correctly prints

 fooman foo...@valid-email.com was already signed by key 43214321
 Nothing to sign with key 43214321

Ok, then if I retype save it repeats found no signed uids
So caff can sign but then doesn't send emails.
I use exim4 and the command mail works via smarthost.
I tried also with caff version 0.0.0.634 from pgp-tools svn but with no
difference.
With every key it works well using cert-level = 0, 2 or 3.
With very few keys it works also with cert-level = 1, and sends the emails.
In
 .caff/gnupghome/gpg.conf
I have

Bug#751252: caff: doesn't send email found no signed uids

2014-06-11 Thread Ilario Gelmetti
Hi!
Putting min-cert-level 1 in .caff/gnupghome/gpg.conf solved, thanks :)

The outputs from the two lines you indicated are different:
 $ gpg --min-cert-level=1 --export-options export-clean --export $keyID
| gpg --list-packets | grep 'sigclass 0x11$' |wc -l
 11
 $ gpg --min-cert-level=2 --export-options export-clean --export $keyID
| gpg --list-packets | grep 'sigclass 0x11$' |wc -l
 0

I have to retire my statement on Key2: the problem is present also with
this key. To verify this I created a new gpg key with an empty pubring
and tried to sign with caff that Key2 and it didn't work. With my main
key I didn't see the problem because in the past I signed a few userids
of that key (with cert-level=3).

Thanks,
Ilario

Bug#748971: vlc crashes when trying to open preferences or trying to display the playing list

2014-06-07 Thread Ilario Gelmetti
Package: vlc
Version: 2.1.4-1+b2
Followup-For: Bug #748971

Dear Maintainer,
I can open vlc but when I select whatsoever dialog from a menu voice (for
example File/Open disk...) vlc crashes with Segmentation fault and in dmesg I
can read lines like
 [  209.990893] vlc[2929]: segfault at 0 ip 7fe6783eeb30 sp
7fe66b650ba8 error 4 in ld-2.19.so[7fe6783ed000+1]

one for each time vlc crashes.
Opening vlc using
 gdb vlc
and then run results in a prefectly working vlc.
Same using strace: vlc works.
This is the output of vlc -vv:

Bug#707736: qtiplot: calculations in tables don't work after last update

2013-05-20 Thread Ilario Gelmetti
Package: qtiplot
Version: 0.9.8.9-4
Followup-For: Bug #707736

Dear Maintainer,
I also have this problem, the error message is There's no row 0 in table
Table1!.
I can reproduce the problem doing:
open qtiplot, put some numbers in column 1, on column 2 select Set
Column Values..., click on Add column, click on Apply.
Then I get the error.
This error is *not* present installing qtiplot from stable wheezy (qtiplot
0.9.8.8-5, libalglib-2.6.0 2.6.0-6, libmuparser2 2.1.0-3)
This error is present installing qtiplot from testing jessie (qtiplot
0.9.8.8-5, libalglib-2.6.0 2.6.0-6, libmuparser2:amd64 2.2.3-2)
This error is present installing qtiplot from unstable sid (qtiplot 0.9.8.9-4,
libalglib3 3.7.0-4, libmuparser2:amd64 2.2.3-2)
From this seems that qtiplot isn't working properly with libmuparser2 2.2.3-2.
Is here the problem?
I solved removing qtiplot and reinstalling from stable.
apt-get remove qtiplot
apt-get -t stable install qtiplot
Thanks,
Ilario

Bug#179279: Show her whos the man

2008-02-21 Thread ilario chang-ji
Pop this twice a day to increase your lenght and girth considerably. if your
lady tells you that size is of no importance, she is lying to you. studies
clearly show that the intimate life of couples whose man has a smaller one is a
lot less active than their counterparts who have big sizes. So think about it
again.
