Bug#1024775: systemd-cryptenroll --pkcs11-token-uri=list PKCS#11 tokens not supported on this build.
Package: systemd Version: 252.1-1 Dear all, I am trying to use an OpenSC compatible PKCS#11 token to enroll an RSA keypair to unlock a LUKS partition. systemd-cryptenroll --pkcs11-token-uri=list PKCS#11 tokens not supported on this build Could you please build systemd with PKCS#11 support. PKCS#11 is the standard way to enroll security tokens and is very mature. Hardware: any libccid smartcard reader https://ccid.apdu.fr/ Token: smartcard-hsm but it could also be the Yubikey https://www.smartcard-hsm.com/ For testing : apt install opensc libccid pcscd opensc-pkcs11 Everything is in Debian and should work. Please allow pkcs11-token and I will test both smartcard-hsm and yubikey. Kind regards,
Bug#968402:
Dear all, I opened another ticket on OpenWRT forum. In short, some clients like my laptop do not support WPA3 and/or WPA2 with PMF (frame protection mode). This depends on wireless chipset and firmware. In Network-Manager, when connecting to a WPA2/WPA3 mixed mode SSID, we should be able to select WPA2-PSK or WPA3-SAE authentication and enable or disable frame protection. If logon fails, there is a risk to get banned. Read: https://forum.openwrt.org/t/wpa3-fails-to-connect-then-banned-from-ap-during-hours/70914/14 IMHO, this bug should be escalated to Network-Manager team or OpenWRT team, as this is not a Debian issue. Feel free to close the issue. A lot of wireless cards using WPA3 or WPA2/WPA3 mixed mode should be impacted, so you may also leave the ticket open till the dust comes down. Kind regards
Bug#968402: Cannot connect in WPA3-sae mode, using WPA2-psk instead
Package: network-manager Version: 1.26.0-1 wpasupplicant 2:2.9.0-13 Dear Maintainer, When trying to connect to OpenWRT access point running in WPA2/WPA3 compatibility mode, I can only connect in WPA2-psk, not WPA3-sae. Connecting in WPA3 from Mac OS X works. Using nmtui or Network-Manager I need to edit connection settings to WPA/WPA2 mode. Then Network-Manager claims to connect in WPA3, but I doubt it is WPA3 as my seeings are only for WPA/WPA2. The problem was also described here on GITLAB Network-manager: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/NetworkManager/NetworkManager/-/issues/172 It was fixed ten months ago in 1.20.2 but the problem remains. Bug#922020: gnome-shell: Keyboard layout not applied in programs using Xwayland
I can confirm this keyboard bug. Since I upgraded my Debian SID, I lost my French keyboard in Firefox- ESR and in Chromium. Bug#564321: OpenSC 0.11.12 released, fixing an important regression
Package: opensc Version : 0.11.9 Severity : grave OpenSC 0.11.12 released, fixing an important regression: http://www.opensc-project.org/pipermail/opensc-announce/2009-December/30.html The problem --- OpenSC 0.11.4 and earlier did not encode integers properly in ASN.1 structures including the on-card format for directory files. This issue was was fixed in OpenSC 0.11.5. However in december 2009 it was discovered, that as a result some cards initialized with OpenSC 0.11.4 and earlier will not properly work with OpenSC 0.11.5 and later. So far texting showed only problems with Starcos cards. The integers keyReference and pinReference are read as negative numbers, instead of the positive number (value+256) they should represent. PKCS#15 dictates that both values need to be positive Integers if specified in the directory files on the card. Thus code can automatically detect the wrong (negative) values and fix the issue by adding 256. In OpenSC 0.11.12 such code was implmeneted and successfully tested. Starcos cards initialized with OpenSC 0.11.4 and earlier can now be used with OpenSC 0.11.12 and later. Cards initialized with OpenSC 0.11.5 and later continue to work fine. Changes to the code were implemented to keep the ABI compatible with earlier versions, so that applications using the internal OpenSC API such as OpenSSH do not need to be recompiled. Still the format on the Starcos cards initialited with OpenSC 0.11.4 continues to be wrong. If necessary a tool can be written to convert such old cards, please report to the OpenSC mailing lists. Creating or storing additional private keys and PIN objects will also update the directory files and thus should writte the correct ASN.1 values on the cards. Other changes - The Entersafe driver in OpenSC was enhanced so it does now support private data objects. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#532908: Please fix this grave bug
Dear Friends, We spent several hours trying to compile a fresh 2.6.30 kernel. Debian stock kernels only provide the new firewire interface. So we compiled a kernel with the old stack. It took us several hours to understand why kernel initrd was missing. At first I thought it was a question of static configuration of modules. I did not look for a missing initrd, because the build scrit included --initrd as usual. This has been the case for so many years. I don't believe my eyes this could change. Please revert. I wonder how your guys can think this is a fixed bug or a question of documentation. I hope you are kidding. Finally, I copied as proposed the following scripts: cp /usr/share/kernel-package/examples/etc/kernel/postinst.d/initramfs /etc/kernel/postinst.d/initramfs-tools ; cp /usr/share/kernel-package/examples/etc/kernel/postrm.d/initramfs /etc/kernel/postrm.d/initramfs-tools For Debian sake, please include these two files into initramfs-tools. Bug#390715: Confirmation
I can confirm this bug. Without fpic option, it is impossible to compile MLT video framework under AMD64. Also, it makes impossible to compile the next version of Kdenlive. Please, fix this bug ASAP. Also, note that a new version of sox was released. Why not upgrade sox? -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
