Bug#379747: [Pkg-lyx-devel] Bug#379747: Regression: tables stopped working in g-brief-de
Resent-To: debian-bugs-dist@lists.debian.org Resent-CC: Debian LyX Maintainers [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Debian-PR-Message: report 379747 X-Debian-PR-Package: lyx-common X-Debian-PR-Keywords: X-Debian-PR-Source: lyx From: Eike Sauer [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: Debian Bug Tracking System [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Tue, 25 Jul 2006 12:42:20 +0200 Subject: [Pkg-lyx-devel] Bug#379747: Regression: tables stopped working in g-brief-de X-SA-Exim-Connect-IP: 127.0.0.1 Package: lyx-common Version: 1.4.1-2 Severity: normal I'm writing all my letters with lyx (thanks for providing it!), including my invoicing. For this purpose I use the template g-brief-de with tables. This used to work fine until version 1.4.1-1 or 1.4.1-2. I'll attach an example lyx file generated with lyx/stable. It generates PDFs with lyx/stable, it doesn't with lyx/unstable. Sometimes I get no response at all, sometimes I got the attached error message. For some reason, the data in the table are encapsulated within g-brief environment. If I remove \begin{g-brief} enad \end{g-brief} in the table in the exported latex file, all is OK. So the question is: should table contents be in standard style instead of brieftext ? I don't see standard in the style menu (but I don't really understand german). Is standard style missing in the new layout ? HTH -- Jean-Pierre -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

There's no Standard style there, but Brieftext means text of the letter, so this is the style meant for the text part. The old version of lyx didn't export any style declaration for the table cells, which worked well (for my purpose). Looks like a bug, and as I can reproduce it on 1.4.2/Solaris, you should post it upstream (lyx-users and bugzilla). -- Jean-Pierre -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe.
