Bug#1012431: exim4: Exim does not deliver local mail immediately through pipe transport
It seems that there is some relation about process limits When I changed in limits.conf --8<---cut here---start->8--- grep logcheck /etc/security/limits.conf logcheck- nproc 5000 --8<---cut here---end--->8--- exim starts deliver mail immediately. On the other hand when I restore default limits: --8<---cut here---start->8--- echo bla |sudo -u logcheck mail frane --8<---cut here---end--->8--- the difference is that "kjonca" have a lot existing processes on this machine (and limts also set higher than usual) and franek logging in occasionally. So it seem that tere is relation between process limits sender and recipients. KJ -- http://wolnelektury.pl/wesprzyj/teraz/

Bug#993236: Acknowledgement (calibre: in calibredb --timeout parameter seems to be ignored)
I do not know how to classify it. It seems that calibredb timeout is determined by timeout setting at calibre server side. I.e if I set at server side I set timeout to 600 seconds calibredb started to behave as expected. So maybe calibredb behaviour is correct, but information about server timeout should be put in calibredb manual. KJ -- http://stopstopnop.pl/stop_stopnop.pl_o_nas.html
Bug#993236: Acknowledgement (calibre: in calibredb --timeout parameter seems to be ignored)
After some digging it seems that, calibre in --8<---cut here---start->8--- File "/usr/lib/calibre/calibre/db/cli/main.py", line 205, in remote_run --8<---cut here---end--->8--- pass proper timeout (600) to "mechanize Browser.open_novisit" So it is possible that mechanize module has bug. No. I have rather old config files, and now I cannot remember why policy is also "stable" here. Bug#843852: amanda-common: Cannot run amdump - and report about missing ssl symbols
Hm. It looks like, that it is rather with ssl or perl libraries. because installing amanda-server_1%3a3.3.9-1_amd64.deb amanda-common_1%3a3.3.9-1_amd64.deb amanda-client_1%3a3.3.9-1_amd64.deb did not resolve problem - message about undefined symbol is the same. I can confirm this bug. My *suspection* is that crash after resolvin my own zone. IE if bind is authoritative for zone 'kjonca' then $dig alfa.kjonca causes crash. When bind is only forwarding queries it can work pretty long.
