Bug#962708: Please build dummy_hcd and g_mass_storage modules
Dear Debian Kernel Team, May I ask about the status of the request to enable the USB_MASS_STORAGE module? Always thanks for your hard work and best regards!

Bug#1021370: pipewire: build with bluez5-codec-aac=enabled
Package: pipewire Version: 0.3.59-1 Severity: wishlist X-Debbugs-Cc: keyofbl...@gmail.com Dear Maintainer, please build pipewire with aac codec support enabled. If this is not possible due to legal\patent issues, please mention it somewhere in the readme and/or in the description, maybe in the debian wiki too. I've spent months to understand why my bluetooth (aac) devices wont pick this codec, looking in config files, installing and removing packages ecc... Now i've compiled and installed from sources and it's working, but as i said, mention it somewhere can be usefull to other users, giving us some clues on what's going on. Bug#1021140: vlc: No video when "Integrate video in interface" is enabled
Yes. At the time to reporting this, #1021032 had issue on mp4 videos only, so I thought it was a complete different problem here. In any case vlc 3.0.17.4-5 solves this issue so it can be now closed. Thanks.

Package: vlc Version: 3.0.17.4-4+b2 Severity: important X-Debbugs-Cc: keyofbl...@gmail.com Dear Maintainer, vlc can't display any video when "Integrate video in interface" is enabled. I've tried several video files, reset vlc config, disabled "Input/Codecs > Hardware-accelerated decoding" and no matter what i set in "Video > Output", nothing changes. I've followed the "Debugging and bug reporting advices", also. This happened, i guess, after the recent upgrade of some qt stuff in sid. vlc -vvv log is attached. Bug#1005311:
Hi, I tested the nvidia legacy 340.108-12+b1 driver with xserver-xorg-core 2:21.1.3-2+b1 (xorg-video-abi-25) and it seems it's working fine by just adding: Section "ServerFlags" Option "IgnoreABI" "1" EndSection in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-nvidia.conf Is there hope that the legacy 340.108 driver will still be supported by debian sid? Bug#948195: nvidia-legacy-340xx-driver: Xorg fails to start with a kernel panic after the upgrade to 340.108-1
Yes I'm on unstable. I upgraded on December 31th but I waited a few days to check that the problem just wasn't on my side. I labeled it as important because it seemed right to me (it doesn't cause data loss or introduces a security hole ecc...). Among the various tests that I did, I disabled lightdm too and it can be enabled again with "dpkg-reconfigure lightdm". I made that script because I needed to easly switch between 340.107-8 and 340.108-1 for troubleshooting.

Hi jim_p, Same problem I reported in bug #948032 https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=948032 To downgrade I've written a dirty script for my personal use, if you need it You'll find it in attachment. nvidia-recovery.sh Description: application/shellscript

Bug#794410:
Hi, I've encountered this same bug, hang on "select and install software - running dpkg - at 12%" VT 4 last line shows "in-target: Processing triggers for libc-bin" Tried with following UNOFFICIAL NON-FREE (becouse realtek firmware request) images on USB: http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/unofficial/non-free/cd-including-firmware/8.2.0/amd64/iso-cd/firmware-8.2.0-amd64-netinst.iso2015-09-06 13:12 265M http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/unofficial/non-free/cd-including-firmware/stretch_di_alpha4/amd64/iso-cd/firmware-stretch-DI-alpha4-amd64-netinst.iso 2015-10-26 00:36 268M http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/unofficial/non-free/cd-including-firmware/weekly-builds/amd64/iso-cd/firmware-testing-amd64-netinst.iso 2015-11-30 06:59 281M HW is Lenovo B50-10 laptop with realtek integrated lan/wlan
Bug#794410:
After many trials installer was able to complete the installation I used the following image (already used before and failed) http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/unofficial/non-free/cd-including-firmware/weekly-builds/amd64/iso-cd/firmware-testing-amd64-netinst.iso 11/30/2015 06:59 281m I had tried different BIOS configurations, and in the scenario when it worked, the last thing I changed in BIOS was an option related to UEFI: "Boot Priority" [UEFI First] So after system start I had "EFI USB Device (the one whit debian installer) has been blocked by the current security policy." After pressing ok, debian installer started in Legacy boot mode and all went ok ...but I don't know if it's just a coincidence...

Bug#641712: mail-notification: popup is misplaced
Package: notification-daemon Followup-For: Bug #641712 I have this problem for very long time since I used gnome 2 and even when I switched to XFCE some time ago (now I'm on XFCE 4.10 from experimental, and the bug is still here). CAUTION: It's not a notification, but a popup or a tooltip. So I think this bug shouldn't be reassigned to notification-daemon (indeed I have xfce4-notifyd). The problem is, more emails (or just text lines) contained in the popup, more the popup will be rendered at the bottom of the screen, until it exit out of sight. Look at this bug report from an Ubuntu User (with LXDE): https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mail-notification/+bug/971909 and His screenshot: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mail- notification/+bug/971909/+attachment/2992003/+files/Screenshot%20from%202012-04-02%2023%3A08%3A38.png I hope this bug will be fixed soon, I'm here for any test.
