Bug#1022765: gnome-passwordsafe: Crash when opening a database (presumably because {} is in custom_property field)

2022-10-25 Thread Krassy Boykinov

Package: gnome-passwordsafe
Version: 6.5-5
Severity: important

Crashes when opening my file with ~50 entries and comments for a lot of
them

This happened after updating pykeepass yesterday

2022-10-24 11:50:54 upgrade python3-pykeepass:all 4.0.1-1 4.0.3-1

Creating a new empty database and unlocking it later on does not cause
any problems

Bug#1022060: gnome-shell: Prolonged use lets one core have >90% CPU usage for a few minutes

2022-10-19 Thread Krassy Boykinov

Package: gnome-shell
Version: 43.0-2
Severity: important

After updating my gnome-shell to 43 i have noticed
repeated "freezes" in wich gnome-shell takes one CPU core up to
100% CPU usage for some minutes. Closing gnome-terminal and reopening
it fixes the problem temporarily (for one to two hours or so). The bug
was also present before the upgrade to the latest kernel.

Bug#1018948: chromium: Main context menu opens in left upper corner of the window

Hello Andreas,

i use gnome-shell (wayland mode). I have attached a screenshot of the
problem.

Best regards

Bug#1018948: chromium: Main context menu opens in left upper corner of the window

2022-09-02 Thread Krassy Boykinov

Package: chromium
Version: 105.0.5195.52-1
Severity: important

Hitting the three dotted context-menu results in rendering it in the top
left corner of the application,

even above the window decorations.

I use chromium in wayland mode (with --ozone-platform-hint=wayland flag)

Bug#1016640: gnome-terminal: Size resets to 80x24, when another window gets focus (only tested on gnome-shell)

2022-08-04 Thread Krassy Boykinov

Package: gnome-terminal
Version: 3.44.1-1
Severity: important

Gnome-terminal resets its size to default after loosing focus - either by:
(1) mouse or (2) by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + N to open a new instance.

I have not tested other WM's besides gnome-shell

I suspect that it has to do with dependencies, that got updated as of today,
because before the update everything was fine.

Bug#1016478: gnome-passwordsafe: Sometimes freezing after entering data in field and directly pressing ctrl + s

2022-08-01 Thread Krassy Boykinov

Package: gnome-passwordsafe
Version: 5.1-3
Severity: normal

Random freezes after pressing ctrl + s having entered some info into a
textfield.

How to reproduce:
(1) Enter anything into a login data field
(2) Press ctrl + s
(3) Go to (1) if it does not freeze (yet)

Sometimes multiple fields have to be edited first

I haven't found any relevant bug in Gnome's GitLab.

Bug#1014748: thunderbird (102.0.1): Launching leads to generic Dash icon named "thunderbird-default"

2022-07-11 Thread Krassy Boykinov

Package: thunderbird
Version: 1:102.0.1-1
Severity: minor

After upgrade to 102.0.1, launching Thunderbird leads to the application
beeing named "thunderbird-default" (with generic icon) in the Gnome Dash.

It is irrelevant if it is started by typing "thunderbird" in the terminal
or clicking on the program icon in the overview
(triggering thunderbird.desktop).

ps still shows correct output: "S 1000 do_sys ? 00:01:37 thunderbird"

aa-status also still confines thunderbird as far as i can tell:
"/usr/lib/thunderbird/thunderbird-bin (152909)
/usr/lib/thunderbird/thunderbird{,-bin}
 /usr/lib/thunderbird/thunderbird-bin (153003)

Bug#1010478: libmutter-10-0: gnome-shell crash to gdm after suspend, libmutter segfault. After relogin monitors.xml is ignored

2022-05-02 Thread Krassy Boykinov

Package: libmutter-10-0
Version: 42.0-4
Severity: important

gnome-shell crashes with a segfault in libmutter after suspend, only
reproducible when connected to a Lenovo ThinkPad Thunderbolt Dock Gen. 1
with two external monitors.
After re-login with gdm the monitors are arranged in a straight line
(default configuration), monitors.xml is ignored. Some similarity to Bug
#927275.
