Bug#836795: jessie-pu: package samba/2:4.1.17+dfsg-2+deb8u2
I would also like to have this updated. The current version "4.2.10+dfsg-0+deb8u3" is unusable. Is there any way we can speed this up? Greetings, Lars Maes
Bug#683404: winbind: wbinfo -r doesnt lookup nested groups after some time of running
Package: winbind Version: 2:3.6.6-2~bpo60+1 Severity: important When using wbinfo -r to resolve the groups a user is member of is only displays the primary group. When i clear all files of samba in /var/run/samba /var/lib/samba /var/cache/samba, rejoin the domain and restart winbind is suddenly does resolve the nested groups. After a while of running (probably after 30 minutes) running wbinfo -r again only display the primary group.. -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0.5 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages winbind depends on: ii adduser 3.112+nmu2 add and remove users and groups ii libc6 2.11.3-3 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libcap2 1:2.19-3 support for getting/setting POSIX. ii libcomerr2 1.41.12-4stable1 common error description library ii libgssapi-krb5-21.8.3+dfsg-4squeeze5 MIT Kerberos runtime libraries - k ii libk5crypto31.8.3+dfsg-4squeeze5 MIT Kerberos runtime libraries - C ii libkrb5-3 1.8.3+dfsg-4squeeze5 MIT Kerberos runtime libraries ii libldap-2.4-2 2.4.23-7.2 OpenLDAP libraries ii libpam0g1.1.1-6.1+squeeze1 Pluggable Authentication Modules l ii libpopt01.16-1 lib for parsing cmdline parameters ii libtalloc2 2.0.1-1 hierarchical pool based memory all ii libtdb1 1.2.9-4~bpo60+1 Trivial Database - shared library ii libwbclient02:3.6.6-2~bpo60+1Samba winbind client library ii lsb-base3.2-23.2squeeze1 Linux Standard Base 3.2 init scrip ii samba-common2:3.6.6-2~bpo60+1common files used by both the Samb ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.4.dfsg-3 compression library - runtime Versions of packages winbind recommends: ii libnss-winbind 2:3.6.6-2~bpo60+1 Samba nameservice integration plug ii libpam-winbind 2:3.6.6-2~bpo60+1 Windows domain authentication inte winbind suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#621072:
I am also experiencing this issue with my XenServer 5.6 FP1 hosts when upgrading to the -33 kernel. Alas i can not give you any dumps, since I get no console from XenCenter and i do not know how to get this elsewhere. The -33 renders our Debian Squeeze guests unusable! Regards Lars Maes
