The mate-dock-applet does not do anything when I add it to the panel.

repro steps:
-create new panel
-add the dock applet to the panel
-run some applications

expected:

should show the running programs

Bug#685487: Overwrite window decoration in fullscreen mode

I have the same probem on Whezzy. I'm also using classic gnome and
clearlooks. But the problem is not restricted to gnome-terminal. I can
reproduce with Iceweasel, eye of gnome. The key is a maximized window
with dark background.

repro steps for Iceweasel
-search for a page with dark background
-browser should be maximized
-move the cursor to upper right of the screen
-you will see a white border on left side

Could you fix it?
