Bug#447661: aptitude: Incorrect download size shown in GUI mode when part of the download has already been completed.
Package: aptitude Version: 0.4.6.1-1.1 Severity: normal Let's say I cancelled a dist-upgrade before the downloading had finished. When I go to try it again from the shell I am told how much download remains. Need to get 65.2MB/90.9MB of archives. If I try the same thing from the GUI mode I am told: DL Size: 90.9MB. This should be changed to the remaining download amount. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.22-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages aptitude depends on: ii apt [libapt-pkg-libc6.6-6 0.7.6 Advanced front-end for dpkg ii libc6 2.6.1-6GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.2.2-3 GCC support library ii libncursesw5 5.6+20071013-1 Shared libraries for terminal hand ii libsigc++-2.0-0c2a2.0.17-2 type-safe Signal Framework for C++ ii libstdc++64.2.2-3The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 Versions of packages aptitude recommends: pn aptitude-doc-en | aptitude-do none (no description available) pn libparse-debianchangelog-perl none (no description available) -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#416364: Text label not shown on ksysguard kicker applet.
Package: ksysguard Version: 4:3.5.5a.dfsg.1-6 Severity: normal This bug is with the ksysguard kicker applet. The problem is with the text top bar not being shown. Steps to reproduce: 1) Add sysguard applet to kicker panel. 2) Note that the 2 default displays, CPU and Mem, have a text top bar which show: CPU, and Mem. 3) Add a 3rd display. 4) Open KSysguard app. 5) Drag localhost-network-interfaces-eth0-receiver-data to 3rd display, and choose signal plotter option. 6) Check that the option top bar, which is in the grid tab of the 3rd displays properties is enabled, and that there is a title defined in the style tab. The bug is that the top bar is never shown, regardless of config setting. Note that the bug isn't limited to the network example given above. Bug#415634: tasksel: amarok is missing from kde-desktop task.
Package: tasksel Version: 2.66 Severity: normal The only major app missing from kde-desktop task is amarok. I beleive it should be a dependency for this task. Bug#396332: installation-report: Desktop environment option in tasksel should let user know it is gnome.
I don't understand what is lost by making this change. If this is a known issue, which bug is it a duplicate of? The fact that this is a FAQ for tasksel should tell us something. I can appreciate the view that average users don't care about the name of the desktop, but nothing is lost by attaching gnome in parenthesis as suggested. It would still clear that they are going to install a desktop environment. Average users don't lose anything, and any user who is at all further advanced than average would be benefited. This is my only complaint on this great project. Cheers, Lex. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Bug#354694: no beep with v17
I can confirm that 1.2.2-17 doesn't beep on my system. downgrading to 1.2.2-15 fixes things so it looks like a regression. printf '\a' works on my system. With 1.2.2-17, beep -e /dev/tty0 also works. Let me know if I can help out with any more helpful info. Cheers, Lex. PS - I'm running up to date sid. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Bug#364706: me too
I to am having this problem. I get the warning popup in the bottom right corner, and hitting hide or hide all does nothing. Am running sid with azureus 2.4.0.2-1 sun package made with java-package sun-j2re1.5 1.5.0+update06 I too will try to isolate where the problem is. One thing I have eliminated is any issue with file in ~/.azureus/ I wiped .azureus and ran azureus again and still had the same issue that this bug is about.
