Bug#1079947: ITP: senpai -- senpai is a terminal IRC client that works best with bouncers
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Mae Miller X-Debbugs-Cc: debian-de...@lists.debian.org * Package name: senpai Version : x.y.z Upstream Contact: ~delthas/senpai-...@lists.sr.ht * URL : https://sr.ht/~delthas/senpai/ * License : ISC Programming Lang: Go Description : senpai is a terminal IRC client that works best with bouncers senpai is an IRC client that works best with bouncers: no logs are kept, history is fetched from the server via CHATHISTORY, networks are fetched from the server via bouncer-networks, messages can be searched in logs via SEARCH, files can be uploaded via FILEHOST (with drag & drop!) - why is this package useful/relevant?: This software is far better than alternative console-based irc clients at connecting to IRC bouncers seamlessly, especially soju-based bonucers. The application is also very snappy and intuitive. Weechat is good but I think this makes onboarding new IRC users easier which is relevant for the debian project - I need a sponsor and guidance as my last packaging foray didn't pan out. publickey - mmiller@wanderingwires.net - 0xC21D2CFF.asc Description: application/pgp-keys signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature

Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Mae Miller X-Debbugs-Cc: debian-de...@lists.debian.org * Package name: melonds Version : 0.9.5 Upstream Contact: Name * URL : https://melonds.kuribo64.net/ * License : GPL Programming Lang: C/C++ Description : nintendo DS emulator This is a modern NintendoDS (not 3DS) emulator. I'm going to be packaging this as my first package partially because it's a program I use and care about and partially in order to learn how the system works and to make my first contribution to debian. As such I would need a sponsor. I'll be seeking help from the games team and likely with maintain it as a games team package (if that's how this works). -- Mae Miller (it/she) signature.asc Description: PGP signature

Bug#1040433: Interest in maintaining the package
Hi! I saw your bug report requesting a new maintainer for the anki package and while I'm new to maintaince, this project seems like it could be a good one to sink my teeth into since I have interest in a working anki package for my university work.
