Bug#1079947: ITP: senpai -- senpai is a terminal IRC client that works best with bouncers

* Package name: senpai

* URL : https://sr.ht/~delthas/senpai/
* License : ISC
  Programming Lang: Go
  Description : senpai is a terminal IRC client that works best with
bouncers

senpai is an IRC client that works best with bouncers:
no logs are kept,
history is fetched from the server via CHATHISTORY,
networks are fetched from the server via bouncer-networks,
messages can be searched in logs via SEARCH,
files can be uploaded via FILEHOST (with drag & drop!)

 - why is this package useful/relevant?: This software is far better than
alternative console-based irc clients at connecting to IRC bouncers seamlessly,
especially soju-based bonucers. The application is also very snappy and
intuitive. Weechat is good but I
 think this makes onboarding new IRC users
easier which is relevant for the debian project
 - I need a sponsor and guidance as my last packaging foray didn't pan out.

  Description : nintendo DS emulator

This is a modern NintendoDS (not 3DS) emulator.

I'm going to be packaging this as my first package partially because
it's a program I use and care about and partially in order to learn how
the system works and to make my first contribution to debian. As such I
would need a sponsor. I'll be seeking help from the games team and
likely with maintain it as a games team package (if that's how this works).

Bug#1050205: wlsunset: Out of date package

2023-08-21 Thread Mae Miller
Package: wlsunset
Version: 0.2.0-2
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

As per suggestion from the debian-mentors channel, I'm filing a bug
report for this package being out of date. I accidentally made my own local
version of the updated version and it seems there's no complications with the
new version that I can see. Please excuse me if this is improper procedure
though.

Bug#1040433: Interest in maintaining the package

2023-08-20 Thread Mae Miller
Hi! I saw your bug report requesting a new maintainer for the anki
package and while I'm new to maintaince, this project seems like it
could be a good one to sink my teeth into since I have interest in a
working anki package for my university work.
