Bug#922032: nvidia-driver: Actually, my GTX 960 Nvidia card is one GTX 550

2019-03-13 Thread Marcelo Santana
Dear maintainer,

Today I was able to spend more time and figuring out what was going on
with my Nvidia card.

In fact it's a fake GTX 960, it's a GTX 550. I could confirme it
installing the 390 legacy driver that is running without any issue.

So, you can close this bug. My sincere apologize for making you waste
your time with it.

Marcelo Santana

the same error messages.

Please, if you have time, I appreciate any advice.

Bug#727768: pytrainer: fails to import gpx files

2016-01-02 Thread Marcelo Santana
Hi there,

I believe this bug was fixed by this commit[1] submitted to the
upstream repository. As far as I know it was caused by the last upgrade
to perl 5.22 occurred on Debian testing.

[1]https://github.com/pytrainer/pytrainer/commit/fcc8f3361d4ff25559cb87a375fbbfc1192ca334

I've made some tests and updates on the pytrainer package that is
available at git repository from pkg-running team and uploaded the
final version to my personal git repository[2].

[2]https://git.msantana.eng.br/pytrainer.git

I would be grateful if someone could review the changes that I made.

we should start using a git repo for the debian-specific work.
Vagrant - can you set up a git repo for ZM and clone from ZM
upstream? We can then bring over the debian directory, apply the
recent NMU patches, and make that the basis for further work.

Yeah, I can migrate it over to git, and at least preserve some of
the history. I've actually been using git-remote-hg lately, but the
histories of the repositories are different... but I can probably
get them both into one repository, even if I have to use a hammer.

Ok, hammered them together using git merge -X theirs v1.28.0
followed up with removing files not present upstream (other than the
debian dir, obviously), and uploaded the repository to collab-maint
git. There were a few upstream tags that conflicted with the tags
generated from mercurial, I kept the upstream ones.

I already have some knowledge of how to maintain packages with git
using collab-maint repositories. I realized the repository that was
created for zoneminder is slightly different from the recommended.

I didn't update the packaging to 1.28.0, but the master branch on
alioth has 1.28.0 upstream merged in. Not sure how much work it will
be to update the packaging, but happy to help.

Also, might want to consider some of the proposed naming conventions
 laid out in:

   http://dep.debian.net/deps/dep14/

What do you thing about the approach that I used?

I did some minor changes and I could generate the package getting some
minor warnings from lintian. It's missing to update the debian/rules
according the standard-version 3.9.6.

I hope to be able helping more.

Bug#419877: conflicting with libgtk2.0-0 (= 2.9)

2007-04-19 Thread Marcelo Santana
Package: sylpheed-claws-gtk2
Version: 2.6.0-1.1

I confirm that bug.

Sylpheed-claws-gtk2 conflicts with libgtk2.0-0 = 2.9, and now the gnome 2.18 of
unstable, use libgtk2 2.10.11-2 version. So, when we try to upgrade for gnome
2.18 the upgrade demands unistalling of sylpheed-claws-gtk2 and dependencies.

Thanks for maintain,

Marcelo.
