Bug#477832: O: metacity-themes: Themes for the Gtk2 metacity window manager

2008-04-25 Thread Mark Howard
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

Orphaning due to lack of time.
I did consider requesting the removal instead, since the themes in this package
were never particularly good. However, popcon does show that a few people have
this installed, so just orphaning it for now.

Bug#322923: ftp.debian.org: Please remove debbuggtk from unstable

2005-08-13 Thread Mark Howard
Package: ftp.debian.org
Severity: normal

Please remove my source package debbuggtk from unstable.
This application has been incompatible with the current bts for a long time
(1 year) and is not likely to be fixed in the near future. This means that the
package is at present completely useless.

Thanks.

Bug#316156: 2.10 version of libglade-java needed

2005-07-17 Thread Mark Howard
Just an update on this -
I did make a 2.10.1-1 package a while ago and uploaded it. Something went wrong
with the upload and any further uploads have been rejected. I've created a -2
version to try to fix this, but cannot currently build and upload it in a clean
way due to kaffe uninstallability in a chrooot.
I'll keep trying..
Sorry for the delay.

Hi,

Is there any chance you could try this build again?
I suspect that it was a temporary problem with gjdoc which may have now been
fixed.

Bug#304646: FTBFS on powerpc too

2005-04-15 Thread Mark Howard
The problem is that we're calling make clean instead of make dist-clean. The
reason for doing this is that the upstream packages wrongly (I think) delete
configure and makefile.in on make dist-clean, and hence the package is no longer
buildable after it is cleaned. I've not had chance to work out exactly what
needs changing to fix this yet though.

It's also worth checking disk space. Few applications cope sanely when the disk

Bug#297469: monodevelop: Include Files dialog: Xlib: unexpected async reply

2005-02-28 Thread Mark Howard
Package: monodevelop
Version: 0.5.1-3
Severity: important

monodevelop crashes when trying to load a project which has had extra files
added to the source directory (in this case a glade.bak file). This causes
monodevelop to be essentially useless for existing projects, hence the severity.
This seems to be a problem with the include files dialog (possibly thread
related, based on my previous experiance with this type of error):

monodevelop --debug Projects/WCIDB/WCIDB.cmbx
Reading
/home/mh/.config/MonoDevelop/CodeCompletionData/mscorlib_1.0.5000.0_b77a5c561934e089.pidb
Creating DefaultWorkbench
Socket already in use
*** Include files dialog ***
Xlib: unexpected async reply (sequence 0x5fc)!

Is there anything else I can do to help debug this?
Also, are there any repositories of newer mono/monodevelop packages, possibly
svn snapshots? I'd really like to try to fix this, but I know a lot has happened
upstream since this 0.5 release.

Thanks for all your hard work packaging mono and friends

Bug#293853: galeon-common: Please split the package into galeon-common and galeon-help

2005-02-08 Thread Mark Howard
Just another thought-

I'm fairly sure the ftpmasters would not let this change happen, even if galeon
maintainers agreed to it. It is not a huge saving, especially considering that
this package is for desktop machines, where space is generally less of an issue.
Also, more importantly, it just isn't done in general; why should galeon be any
different?
