Bug#1003226: mdadm: typo in manual page mdadm(8)

2022-01-06 Thread Martin Schwarz
Package: mdadm
Version: 4.2~rc2-7
Severity: minor

Dear Maintainer,

there's a minor spelling mistake in the mdadm(8) manpage (file
/usr/share/man/man8/mdadm.8.gz):

The line "can be found it" should probably read "can be found in"
instead.

Thanks!

Bug#973491: debian-policy: ch-opersys refers to wrong manpage section for systemd.unit

2020-10-31 Thread Martin Schwarz
Package: debian-policy
Version: 4.3.0.3
Severity: minor

Dear Maintainer,

policy.html/ch-opersys.html (and
policy.html/_sources/ch-opersys.rst.txt) contains a reference to
  "the man page systemd.unit(8)."

However, I couldn't find that manual page in section 8 -- but there is
one in section 5.

So the text should probably be changed to refer to
  "the man page systemd.unit(5)."

Thanks!

Bug#928601: unattended-upgrades: manpage refers to wrong logfile location

2019-05-07 Thread Martin Schwarz
Package: unattended-upgrades
Version: 1.11
Severity: minor

Dear Maintainer,

the information for the "-d" or "--debug" option in the
unattended-upgrade(8) manpage refers to a non-existent logfile:

Instead of "/var/log/unattended-upgrades.log" this should probably read
"/var/log/unattended-upgrades/unattended-upgrades.log".

Another wrong logfile in the manpage has already been fixed in #817974
but this one seems to have slipped through or perhaps has been
introduced later.

Not critical, but should be fixed anyway ... thanks!

Bug#920922: rsyslog.conf refers to non-existent html doc file

2019-01-30 Thread Martin Schwarz

Version: 8.24.0-1
Severity: minor

Dear Maintainer,

/etc/rsyslog.conf refers to
  /usr/share/doc/rsyslog-doc/html/rsyslog_conf.html

This file is not included in rsyslog or rsyslog-doc.

The correct file to mention is probably
  /usr/share/doc/rsyslog-doc/html/configuration/index.html

Perhaps the comment should also mention that package "rsyslog-doc" needs
to be installed for that file to exist.

Thanks!

Dear Maintainer,

the default quota warning contains some spelling mistakes in its German

words "Ihr", "Ihnen" etc. in that contect (2nd person plural).
