I have the same issue, also reverted back to

vmlinuz-5.10.0-8-amd64 from vmlinuz-5.14.0-1-amd64

Debian-Bug info output of Michael seams to be after he reverted back.

I also got this kernel message:

Bug#639229: libreoffice-base: package not installable, dpkg fails to unpack

2011-08-25 Thread Matthias Cramer
Hi

I made a strace on dpkg -i and at the end I see the following

readlink("/usr/lib/libreoffice/basis3.3/program/classes/sdbc_hsqldb.jar",
"\302\f\20"...,
148) = 3
write(2, "dpkg: ../../src/archives.c:824: "..., 81dpkg:
../../src/archives.c:824: tarobject: Assertion `r == stab.st_size' failed.

an ls to that:

# ls -la /usr/lib/libreoffice/basis3.3/program/classes/sdbc_hsqldb.jar
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 73 Aug 16 09:04
/usr/lib/libreoffice/basis3.3/program/classes/sdbc_hsqldb.jar -> ???

and a file command to that:

# file /usr/lib/libreoffice/basis3.3/program/classes/sdbc_hsqldb.jar
/usr/lib/libreoffice/basis3.3/program/classes/sdbc_hsqldb.jar: broken
symbolic link to `\302\020

seams that here is something broken on the file system ...

removing that symlink solves my problem ...

probably it would be nice, if dpkg would tell which file/symlink is
broken...

Regards

  Matthias

It's an ext4 on a software raid0 consisting of 2 wd velocy raptor 300GB
disks.

mount outputs this:

/dev/md0 on / type ext4 (rw,noatime,user_xattr,errors=remountro,commit=0)

2011-08-25 Thread Matthias Cramer
Hi Rene

Deleted the file on the disk twice and let apt-get re download it. Same
issue. I was thinking probably the package on the ftp server is broken.
Other packages install fine...

Can you send me an MD5 sum of your package to verify or is this a stupid
idea because they are signed anyway ?

Regards

  Matthias

Hi Mark

I subscribed now to the mailinglist. As It looks like other people have
the same
problems. The radius seams to die after the first Auth Request that comes in
after the SIGHUP.

Bug#420003: Problem should be solved in 1.1.6

2007-04-19 Thread Matthias Cramer
Just noticed that 1.1.6 is out since 2006.04.12 which fixes this bug:

2006.04.12 Version 1.1.6 (sig) has been released. The focus of this release is
stability.
Feature Improvements

* Added more dictionaries

Bug Fixes

* Corrected typo in rlm_pap.c (closes #440)
* Corrected typo in src/main/auth.c (closes #437)
* Suppress SSL error messages if error is zero. (closes #436)
* Don't complain about "Error in read client certificate A" if we expect to
read it in the next packet. Fix based on patch by Dan Lukes.
* Corrected nearly 30 bugs found by Coverity See also
http://scan.coverity.com
* Don't die on HUP. Instead leak memory (sorry). After a few hundred HUP's,
the server will have leaked a few megabytes of memory, and you should probably
re-start it. It's ugly, but better than dying. (Closes #426)
* Corrected a few double free's
* Corrected typo in radrelay, which prevented it from working
* Made Firebird module build
* Fixed bug in PostgreSQL module that caused server crash.
* Fixed bug in SQL module that could cause server to crash.

Bug#420003: freeradius SEGFAULTS after reload

2007-04-19 Thread Matthias Cramer
Package: freeradius
Version: 1.1.5-1
Severity: critical

--- Please enter the report below this line. ---

Freeradius SEGFAULTS after it receives a signal 1. It does not die imidiately,
it takes about 10 to 15 secs.
When startet with the -s option (no multithreading) it seams to run fine.
Previous versions did not have this problem.
