Bug#569662: Problem is back with icedove 3.0.3

2010-04-05 Thread Michael G. Hansen
I just updated to icedove 3.0.3 and the links are again not opening in
an external browser. The recipe that I found earlier is not helping this
time. When clicking on a link, the error console shows:

Bug#569662: Works-for-me solution

2010-02-20 Thread Michael G. Hansen

I found this thread:
http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=86627

Setting network.protocol-handler.warn-external.http(s) = true and then
manually selecting /usr/bin/firefox as the application solved the
problem for me. Trying to open links with the firefox (default) entry
that was already present did not work for some reason.

Bug#536894: vdr: VDR unloads 'budget_av' on startup

2009-07-14 Thread Michael G. Hansen
Package: vdr
Version: 1.6.0-10
Severity: important

I used to run vdr 1.6.0-8 without the problem described below, I have not
tested 1.6.0-9.

When the system boots, the module 'budget_av' is loaded and I can watch TV on
my Mystique CaBiX-C2 card, for example with kaffeine.

However, when VDR is started, the 'budget_av' is unloaded and VDR does not
receive any channels.
Watching TV with kaffeine only works again after 'modprobe budget_av'.

Relevant output of 'dmesg' on startup of VDR:
[ 1073.843428] saa7146: unregister extension 'budget_av'.
[ 1073.843837] budget_av :01:05.0: PCI INT A disabled
VDR does not produce any messages in /var/log/messages related to this issue
