Bug#1060289: linphone: why are there ringtones in mkv encapsulated opus and the only thing it is able to use are wav files?

2024-01-08 Thread Mr. T

Package: linphone
Version: 4.2.5-3
Severity: important
X-Debbugs-Cc: t...@treaki.tk

Dear Maintainer,

i tried to change the ringtone, because the default one was a big basic,
i tried those wich are also there at /usr/share/sounds/linphone/rings
but the only one tht worked was the default one

i assumed that the one there would work, there where no error message
but it wasnt ringing anymore eiterh. So i tryed to convert one of them
using ffmpeg, to mp3 and opus (without some mkv container) but both
didnt work, only thing that worked was converting it to microsoft .wav
file so, strage i guess that it didnt work with anything else then the
most basic audio file and the one provided with are more elaborated then
anything normally there, i mean opus on its own is high but then also in
an matroska container. At least i guess it should support de facto
standarts like an basic mp3 files..

please fix that and if you cant, just convert those mkv files to wav

thanks and keep up the good work

today it worked fine, got it running in my pull-down terminal tilda, but
then somehow, maybe cause i used some other apps with it and
disconnected an usb headset (usb input output) pulseaudio got a little
hickup, it was fine for all my other apps running actively right now
(firefox and mpv) but the pulsemixer python process generated 100% cpu
as far as it could and was not reacting to input in its terminal tab, i
tried to sigterm (15) it but i had to sigkill (9) it to get rid of it
and then

could restart it. there was not particularity much hint about it only
this crumbled up with the other output

Bug#988351: gimp crashes when copyq is running and i copy something from gimp to clipboard

2021-05-11 Thread Mr. T

Package: gimp
Version: 2.10.22-4
Severity: important
X-Debbugs-Cc: t...@treaki.tk

together with:

Package: copyq
Version: 3.13.0-1
Severity: normal

hi,

its a fresh debian testing install, i installed mate-desktop gimp and
copyq (cause i know it from windows and like to have a history not only
of clipboard text but also html/richtext and graphics). But when i have
copyq running (default settings) and are working with gimp, copying
stuff there, gimp just crashes completely.
Please check this out.

Thanks a lot and keep up a good work
