Bug#840657: [Pkg-xfce-devel] Bug#840657: Corrected patch
Yes, the bad CSS appears to be fixed (checked by uninstalling and re-installing xfce4-notifyd). I don't know whether the "org.ally.Bus name" problem has been fixed or not: I couldn't reproduce that one. Note that my patch was designed to only fix the CSS problem (my emails to this bug arrived out of order). I suspect that bug #838722 is the same problem; if so, it should also be fixed now. Does this still happen? I think it's been fixed with 0.3.3-2 but a confirmation would be nice. Bug#759592: winbind dumps core on startup, fails to resolve
Package: winbind Version: 2:4.1.11+dfsg-1 Severity: important When starting winbind, it dumps core and doesn't resolve user IDs. Bug#284111: xserver-xfree86: doesn't scan PCI domains above 0000
Hi Brice. Sorry, but I don't have any sparc boxes running X these days, so I can't test this to see if the bug is still there. I seem to recall that I worked around the problem by changing the slot that the graphics card was in, but I can't be too sure of that. Thanks for asking, though. .Ron -Original Message- From: Brice Goglin [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, January 16, 2007 5:01 PM To: Murray, Ronald Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Bug#284111: xserver-xfree86: doesn't scan PCI domains above Hi Ron, About 2 years ago, you reported a bug to the Debian BTS regarding PCI domains above not being scanned by the X server. Did you reproduce this problem recently? If not, I will close this bug in the next weeks. Thanks, Brice ** This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed. Bug#338241: Red/blue swaps on xorg fbdev driver on sparc64
I have the same problem on a Sun Enterprise 250, which uses a Permedia2 chipset on its graphics board. It used to work fine with the glint driver, but lately that won't load (see separate bug report). So I tried this patch, and that at least fixes the red/blue colour swap. It does, however, introduce a strange problem where all icons (including the cursor) are now surrounded by a small black square. But at least the colours are otherwise correct. Any suggestions for fixing the "black surround" problem? .Ron ** This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
