Opensync libraries are not available in Debian testing. They have been
 removed.

If you want matching opensync library packages, you'll have to get
 them separately.

 See http://www.netdirect.ca/software/packages/barry/installdebian.php
for more details on where to get these packages.

I try this repository, but it isn't working:

W: Failed to fetch
http://download.barry.netdirect.ca/barry-latest/dists/squeeze/Release
Unable to find expected entry 'main/source/Sources' in Release file (Wrong
sources.list entry or malformed file)

E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones
used instead.

Thanks for reporting it.  Can you get a log from when this happens using
netconsole, serial console, or by taking a photograph on a text VT?

I will check it.

Just to mention:
When I turn on the computer when the wifi close, Debian stuck in the
boot process after the networking.

  http://www.kernel.org/doc/Documentation/networking/netconsole.txt
  http://www.kernel.org/doc/Documentation/serial-console.txt

I'd also be interested to hear if 3.2.y from sid or squeeze-backports
produces the same problem.  The only packages from outside squeeze you
may need in order to test aside from the kernel image itself are
 linux-base and initramfs-tools.

Is this a regression?  What's the last version that worked ok?

Sorry for the trouble and hope that helps,
 Jonathan

Bug#403177: gnome-panel freeze when choose one of shutdown/restart/logout option

2006-12-15 Thread Nadav Vinik

Yes I have problem there, the internet is not load by default:

# find /var/log/|xargs grep --line-number /etc/network/interfaces
/var/log/bootstrap.log:1181:O: ifupdown.postinst: Warning: No 'iface
lo' definition found in /etc/network/interfaces
/var/log/bootstrap.log:1182:O: ifupdown.postinst: Warning: No 'auto
lo' statement found in /etc/network/interfaces

/var/log/user.log:128:Dec 14 23:41:59 Debian net.agent[4220]: Cannot
raise interface sit0: interface lo did not appear!

cat /etc/network/interfaces
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp

I don't have/create the /etc/hosts file.

I create the file with 127.0.0.1 localhost inside and restart
but the internet didn't work in load.

I installed the system with debootstrap.

Does there any package to create al the needed configuration files
like they should be if is normal installation?

Nadav

Hi,

could you ensure that the loopback interface is correctly configured?
Could you also check whether your DNS configuration is working, and send
us your /etc/hosts file?

Thanks,

Do you have any more insane proposals for me?
