Bug#449436: filepp reports wrong version
Package: filepp Version: 1.8.0-1 Severity: normal The debian package rules file was not updated to set the version string to 1.8.0 instead of 1.7.1 in filepp. This bug does not impact the functionnality of filepp, but gives problems when trying to configure some other software which check for filepp = 1.8.0. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (900, 'stable'), (400, 'testing'), (50, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12-1-k7 Locale: LANG=en_CA, LC_CTYPE=en_CA (charmap=UTF-8) -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#403703: Fix confirmed?
Hello, Quoting Alex Owen [EMAIL PROTECTED]: Patrice, please update this bug if it still does not work for you. With the patch I cannot recreate your original problem. As promised, I re-did the tests and the patch *does* work correctly. The multi-page problem I had in my earlier testing was caused by the testing workstation generating the PostScript with inter-page dependencies causing problems when page order was reversed as functions were used before being defined. Bug#403703: Bug #403703: already fixed upstream
Upstream bug #2166 has been marked as a duplicate of bug #2111 (http://www.cups.org/str.php?L2111). The fix for bug #2111 ((http://www.cups.org/strfiles/2111/str2111.patch) did fix the problem for me. -- Patrice Fournier -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Quoting Patrice Fournier [EMAIL PROTECTED]: The fix for bug #2111 ((http://www.cups.org/strfiles/2111/str2111.patch) did fix the problem for me. Seems I spoke too soon... the fix works fine on single page jobs, but multiple pages jobs still produce errors. I will do more tests and confirm later. -- Patrice Fournier -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Bug#342597: hylafax-server: faxrcvd overwritten on upgrade
Quoting Baltasar Cevc [EMAIL PROTECTED]: On update of the hylafax packages, the faxrcvd script (/var/spool/fax/bin/faxrcvd) gets replaced. As it must be changed manually on some systems (e.g. to print faxes), it should be considered a configuration file. Most configuration (including printing of faxes) can be made in etc/FaxDispatch and if you really need to make changes to the faxrcvd script, you could save them in a new file and have HylaFAX use that file instead... (by using FaxRcvdCmd in your config.tty* configuration files) Either way should be safe from upgrades. -- Patrice Fournier iFAX Solutions, Inc. www.ifax.com -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#310609: libfirebird2-super: firebird.msg is missing
Package: libfirebird2-super Version: 1.5.1-4 Severity: normal firebird.msg is missing when no server is installed on the machine. Bug#309683: hylafax-server: No response to PPS repeated 3 times. after upgrade from 4.1.x
Quoting John Goerzen [EMAIL PROTECTED]: Yes, but it seems that entering batching mode works, so it doesn't set supportsBatching to false; it's only after attempting to transmit the first page of the second document that it encounters trouble. It may then be caused by http://bugs.hylafax.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=633 which has been fixed in CVS upstream. -- Patrice Fournier -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#308621: kernel-kbuild-2.6-3: modpost can't be used on x86_64 kernels
Package: kernel-kbuild-2.6-3 Version: 2.6.8-2 Severity: important Extra modules can't be built for an x86_64 kernels as the modpost linked from the kernel-headers-2.6.8-11-em64t-p4-smp/scripts/mod directory is looking for 32 bits ELF headers. You can test this by using modpost on any x86_64 kernel module and you'll get no symtab error. I had to grab the kernel-kbuild-2.6-3 for amd64 and use --force-architecture to install it to be able to build the extra module I needed. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-11-em64t-p4-smp Locale: LANG=en_CA, LC_CTYPE=en_CA (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages kernel-kbuild-2.6-3 depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-21 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an -- no debconf information -- Patrice Fournier -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe.
