As promised, I re-did the tests and the patch *does* work correctly. The multi-page problem I had in my earlier testing was caused by the testing workstation generating the PostScript with inter-page dependencies causing problems when page order was reversed as functions were used before being defined. 0x0:

You can test the resulting PostScript by trying to convert it to PDF using
ps2pdf.
This is already fixed in CVS.
