Bug#154204: xserver-xfree86: [ati/r128] SEGV when memory tight and using Xv applications on Rage 128 RF rev 0

 Hi,

About 5 years ago, you reported a bug to the Debian BTS regarding a
segfault of the X server when memory is tight and a Xv application is
running on a Rage 128 board. Did you reproduce this problem recently?
With Xorg/Etch? With latest xserver-xorg-core and drivers? If not, I
will close this bug in the next weeks.

You can close it.

 Thanks,
 Brice

Bug#321399: kdemultimedia-kfile-plugins: id tags not working anymore with kfile plugins for multimedia

2005-08-05 Thread Pierre Souchay

Package: kdemultimedia-kfile-plugins
Version: 4:3.3.2-1
Severity: important

*** Please type your report below this line ***

kfile plugins for multimedia don't work anymore, konqueror does not show
any metadata anymore and when I try with kfile, I have the following
error:
$ kfile mp3_or_ogg_file
mp3_or_ogg_file: MPEG Layer 3 Audio (audio/x-mp3)
KFileMetaInfo: WARNING: error loading the plugin
mp3_or_ogg_file: Cannot determine metadata

I suppose the is a problem in the library format (binary issue ?). Since
I use prelink, I tried to reinstall the package, but it does not work
neither. Note that other kfile plugins for different mime types work.

Hope this help, contact me for further details.

Best Regards.

Pierre Souchay

Bug#313394: evolution-exchange broken since last update

2005-06-23 Thread Pierre Souchay
Package: evolution-exchange
Version: 2.0.4-1
Followup-For: Bug #313394

Since my last update, evolution does not work, when I try to launch
/usr/bin/ximian-connector-setup-2.0, I have the following message:

ximian-connector-setup-2.0: error while loading shared libraries:
libeshell.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or
directory

To correct this, I tried to put the dir where libeshell.so.0 in my
LD_LIBRARY_PATH:
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/evolution/2.2

Then, the message is:
 ximian-connector-setup-2.0
ximian-connector-setup-2.0: error while loading shared libraries:
libcamel.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or
 directory

The file libcamel.so.0 is not present on my system.

Hope it helps.

Best Regards.
