Bug#942280: linux-image-4.19.0-6-amd64: Mouse wheel does not work

Bug#660157: gnome-shell: does not display system tray icon of a java application
Hi! I don't use that app anymore, but I made a test. I cannot reproduce the exact same bug now, but things are actually worse on gnome-shell 3.8.4-5. The icon is now displayed as a quarter of a larger gray square. There is no tooltip when hovering over with the cursor and the context menu doesn't work at all. My Java version is currently openjdk-7-jre: 7u21-2.3.9-5. There are no issues in the GNOME flashback mode. Regards Rafał

2013/10/14 Ludovico Cavedon cave...@debian.org I am going to reassign the bug. It seems to be fixed in version 1.4-1. Howevever, it might not swill work because of http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=725665 I'm afraid the problem still occurs after upgrading to python-nautilus 1.1-4. Now the error is: ImportError: could not import gobject (could not find _PyGObject_API object) Creating the symlink doesn't help anymore. -- Rafał Rutkowski rrutkow...@gmail.com

It causes that the browser won't produce any sound if the soundcard is busy. However the man page states, that auto is the default value for this variable. Another problem is that the /usr/bin/iceweasel script is constructed in a way that the user cannot use his own value of the ICEWEASEL_DSP variable; it is always overriden by the value from the rc file. Is the following fragment (line 49) correct? if [ -z ${ICEWEASEL_DSP} ] ; then RUNTIME_ICEWEASEL_DSP=${ICEWEASEL_DSP} fi Shouldn't it be if [ ${ICEWEASEL_DSP} ] ; then RUNTIME_ICEWEASEL_DSP=${ICEWEASEL_DSP} fi ? -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (999, 'testing'), (900, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.17-2-k7 Locale: LANG=pl_PL.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=pl_PL.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages iceweasel depends on: ii debianutils 2.17 Miscellaneous utilities specific t ii fontconfig2.4.1-2generic font configuration library ii libatk1.0-0 1.12.3-1 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-4GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcairo2 1.2.4-4The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libfontconfig12.4.1-2generic font configuration library ii libfreetype6 2.2.1-5FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libgcc1 1:4.1.1-13 GCC support library ii libglib2.0-0 2.12.4-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.8.20-3 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libjpeg62 6b-13 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libmyspell3c2 1:3.1-17 MySpell spellchecking library ii libpango1.0-0 1.14.8-2 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libpng12-01.2.8rel-5.2 PNG library - runtime ii libstdc++64.1.1-13 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-6 2:1.0.3-2 X11 client-side library ii libxft2 2.1.8.2-8 FreeType-based font drawing librar ii libxinerama1 1:1.0.1-4.1X11 Xinerama extension library ii libxp61:1.0.0.xsf1-1 X Printing Extension (Xprint) clie ii libxrender1 1:0.9.1-3 X Rendering Extension client libra ii libxt61:1.0.2-2 X11 toolkit intrinsics library ii psmisc22.3-1 Utilities that use the proc filesy ii zlib1g1:1.2.3-13 compression library - runtime iceweasel recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- Rafał Rutkowski [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#394663: lirc: daemon quits when a client tries to connect

However, if the daemon is started manually by invoking lircd --device=/dev/lirc0 (as root), everything works fine. This is because you haven't yet configured lircd.conf or hardware.conf. It is arguably a flaw in lirc that it will start without knowing what hardware to talk to, but it's a design flaw, rather than a bug. That's it. A line DEVICE=UNCONFIGURED appeared in the hardware.conf file after the update. I don't know how I could have missed it. It wasn't there before the 0.8 version, that's for sure. Removing the line makes the init script use the /dev/lirc0 device and solves the problem. And the problem was obviously no bug :) Thank you for your time -- Rafał Rutkowski [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble?
