Bug#573328: xserver-xorg-video-radeonhd Chipset support

2010-03-10 Thread Robert Richter
Package: xserver-xorg-video-radeonhd
Version: 1.3.0-2

Please update the supported chipsets in the package description of
xserver-xorg-video-radeonhd
[http://packages.debian.org/en/squeeze/xserver-xorg-video-radeonhd].

Please add new cards such as my RV770 etc.

Unfortunately, I could not test it yet. Currently I use Debian Lenny on
this computer. I installed for testing, Debian Squeeze in VirtualBox.
The radeonhd driver does not works in VirtualBox.

When Squeeze is stable, I will test the new radeonhd driver.

Thanks a lot!

Harness gravity with your crayon and set about creating blocks, ramps, levers,
pulleys and whatever else you fancy to get the little red thing to the little
yellow thing.

Numpty Physics is a drawing puzzle game in the spirit (and style?) of
Crayon Physics using the same excellent Box2D engine. Note though that
I've not actually played CP so the experience may be very different.
Numpty Physics includes a built-in editor so that you may build (and
submit) your own levels.

This package ensures that OSS support is provided in some way. On

the

The purpose of this package is for applications that only support OSS
to depend
on it, hence preventing common /dev/dsp not found errors that would

 unexperienced users.

Hmm, are you using an external usb sound card? Which one? BTW, are
you able to hear music or any other sound?
yes (Audio CD, Youtube...) but I can't change the software volume
control(ALSA, OSS, GNOME are without effect), it works only at the
  speaker box volume control cable.

With the hda-intel or the usb one?

What is the usb one for?

Apparently, are all two chips onboard sound chips.

I triggered out that trigger uses OpenAL and it looks for a backend
   in this order:

   alsa,oss,solaris,dsound,winmm,port,wave

The fact it looks for /dev/dsp shows that it doesn't found alsa and
tries oss, though. I assume, that your usb sound card isn't really a
soundcard. Maybe a microphone or a miss recognized webcam?

Did you tried to hear sound with your HDA-Intæl one?
I used the onboard soundcard (analogdigital output) from my ASUS
M2N-SLI Mainboard. (green output for front speakers)

Does alsa work with this soundcard?

Partially, Speaker 1 - PnP Audio Device (Alsa mixer) works. But when I
play with the 4 controls the gnome applet crashes.

And the other applications and games use this, unfortunately, not as the
default sound output.

This package ensures that OSS support is provided in some way. On
Linux, it
enables the ALSA compatibility modules. On other kernels where OSS is
the
default interface, no action is taken.

The purpose of this package is for applications that only support OSS
to depend
on it, hence preventing common /dev/dsp not found errors that would
confuse
 unexperienced users.

Can you integrate the package, after the repair, into debian

I can't install the 32bit 3d2m-deb-paket under amd64-debian.
ia32-libs and libsdl-ttf2.0-0 are installed.

get it under

I used the 32bit deb-file, because the source is without a configure

Bug#502451: RFP: megatunix -- MegaTunix is the only tuning software for Unix (and now Win32) class operating systems that supports all existing megasquirt firmwares

2008-10-16 Thread Robert Richter
Package: wnpp
Severity: siehe unten

MegaTunix is the only tuning software for Unix (and now Win32) class
operating systems that supports all existing megasquirt firmwares. It
has been recently redesigned in such a way as to be extensible to
support new firmware variants with little to no new code needing to be
written. The new design permits the gui tabs that relate to MegaSquirt
variables to be redesigned using the Glade GUI designer for windows or
Glade gui designer for Unix to change or alter the gui look/feel to
accomodate new controls on more advanced firmwares.

This tuning software is capable of the most complete ind accurate
nterrogation of the ECU than any other tuning software out there
currently (MegaTune for windows, MS-Palm, MegaSquirtPCC). This advanced
interrogation is configurable and provides the most complete detection
of the target firmware, (such to prevent mis-detection) and would even
allow MegaTunix to work with non-MS hardware though this left up as an
exercise for the user.

MegaTunix is developed on Linux (Ubuntu and Gentoo Linux specifically),
but does work on all other Linux distros (Assuming the proper libraries
are installed), FreeBSD and Mac OS-X (with macports/ darwinports and the
necessary support libraries installed) and Win32 platforms

errors:

Notes: MAJOR bugfix to solve table corruption and inability for linked
controls to work properly. (caused by tab parsing code bug related to
[defaults] section not being properly overridden by controls that
redefine defaults) LOTS of improvements. 3D table editor is much much
more powerful, can move load/rpm axis's with Control-Arrow keys, and
raise lower rows/columns with Control/Alt-q/w+/-/Pgup/Pgdn. New
rescaling ability for all tables that's more powerful than previous
editions. Dropped support of Win9x, as mtx requires GTK+2.10 or higher
now.

compile error (concerns the build of the ubuntu-deb-package):

Bug#390922: With all DEBIANETCH DVDs fails the integrity test.

2006-10-03 Thread Robert Richter
Package: debian-installer

Hello,

before I burning the DVDs I examined successfully the ISOs with:
md5sum -cv debian-testing-i386-binary-*number*.iso.

With ALL Debian Etch DVDs fails the integrity test.

I used the actual 3 DVD-ISOs from Debian Etch 2nd Oct. 2006 with the
expertgui-Mode.

The error message:
~~

Integritätstest fehlgeschlagen

Die Datei ./dists/etch/main/binary-i386/Packages konnte nicht mit der
MD5-Prüfsumme überprüft werden. Ihre CD-ROM oder diese Datei könnte
beschädigt sein.

translated error message:

Integrity test missed

The file ./dists/etch/main/binary-i386/Packages could not be examined
with the MD5-Checksum. Their CD-ROM or this file could be damaged.

PS: Could I examine the DVD-MD5-Summs (MD5SUMS-file from the ISOs
directory at the debian-server) after I burned the DVDs?

Thanks for helping!

Greetings from Germany.
