Dear Maintainer,

After updating my stretch+backports PC to mesa 18, I have transparency
issues in kde plasma desktop and menus do not show up in firefox-esr 60.

I think the issue is already fixed upstream - please see the following
reports (the latter also contains a patch):
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=105871

Thank you Michael,

I have already worked around the problem by adding Debian-gdm to group
video in /etc/group (owner of /dev/fb0) so this is an alternative to a
suid Xorg wrapper at least for frame buffer based Xorg drivers.

Kind regards,
Robert

Bug#730117: php-horde-text-filter: Class 'Horde_Text_Filter_JavascriptMinify_JsMin' not found in /usr/share/php/Horde/Text/Filter/JavascriptMinify.php

2013-11-21 Thread Robert Trebula
Package: php-horde-text-filter
Version: 2.1.5+debian0-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I receive the following error in apache error log when I log on to horde
imp:

PHP Fatal error: Class 'Horde_Text_Filter_JavascriptMinify_JsMin' not
found in /usr/share/php/Horde/Text/Filter/JavascriptMinify.php on line
51, referer: http://gw2/horde/login.php

I can log on but imp falls back to minimal mode with message:

JavaScript is either disabled or not available on your browser. You are
restricted to the minimal view.

I think that this is because of the error above.

Kind regards,
Robert

What desktop environment/window manager are you using? Are you using
compiz or some other compositing manager? Do you see this same problem
 if you disable the compositing?

This may be related to #666468. It may be worthwhile seeing if downgrading
libcairo2 to 1.10.2-7 makes any difference.

Yes, downgrading to libcairo2_1.10.2-7~bpo60+1_i386.deb makes the
problem go away.

I'm using gnome 3 with gnome shell, by the way.

Bug#373848: libebook1.2-dev: Package uninstallable in sid

2006-06-15 Thread Robert Trebula
Package: libebook1.2-dev
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Hello,

Package libebook1.2-dev depends on libnss3-dev, which conflicts with
libnss3, which is required by, for example, evolution,
openoffice.org-core.

In addition, libnss3-dev depends on libnspr4-dev, which conflicts with
libnspr4. And libnspr4 also looks like an important package.

Something strange going on here...

Package: locales

In Slovakia week starts on Monday, however all programs using locales
for detemining start of week show Sunday as first day of week.

I've seen some other bug reports against locales and you always seem to
ask for an official document or proof.

Well, I don't have any but if you do a google search kalendar site:.sk
(kalendar is calendar in Slovak) and browse the results, all of them
start on Monday.

Thank you,

Hi,

Same problem here. It doesn't happen when I use C locale when logging

I can see that there is a zombie xkbcomp process that is spawned from
gnome-settings-daemon:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ cat /proc/12694/status

The same bug is reported against xkbcomp - #347767.

I can provide more information if necessary. Just e-mail me to the

Bug#346109: libopenal0: Please provide default /etc/openalrc file

2006-01-05 Thread Robert Trebula
Package: libopenal0
Version: 0.2005080600-2.1
Severity: wishlist

I didn't know that it was possible to configure OpenAL until I spent
quite some time browsing the web.
Maybe a default or sample configuration file /etc/openalrc would help
others. My suggestion:

# Configuration file for libopenal0

# Prefered order of audio output systems to try
(define devices '(alsa sdl native))

# Number of speakers (autodetected by default)
# (define speaker-num 2)

Bug#345046: libgtk2.0-0: menu items show string keyboard label in SK locale

2005-12-28 Thread Robert Trebula
Package: libgtk2.0-0
Version: 2.8.9-2
Severity: minor

Menu items show string keyboard label with all keyboard shortcuts in
this locale.

For example:
Otvorit keyboard label|Ctrl+O

(this is the Open menu item in a File menu).

In the default and us_US UTF-8 locale it is correct.

Robert

Hi Ender. You are right. I don't know what I was smoking the other day.
I saw the e-mail from BTS that the issue was fixed, so I checked and it
wasn't. Somehow I forgot to apt-get upgrade the package in the process.

I can confirm that the new version is OK.

Sorry for wasting your time.

Have a nice day,
Robert

Bug#309746: libpam-cracklib: passwd program segfaults when pam_cracklib.so used

2005-05-19 Thread Robert Trebula
Package: libpam-cracklib

Severity: critical
Tags: security
Justification: root security hole

The only non-commented lines in /etc/pam.d/common-password:

password required pam_unix.so use_authtok nullok md5

Example session of passwd program usage:

Segmentation fault

I am no security expert but I feel that suid-root programs should not
segfault.

I would be happy if you prove that it is my fault and there is no root
security hole here.

Kind regards,

In SK (Slovak) locale settings, the Filesystem location in file
