Bug#622810: nautilus: Single Click Open Not Working - Wayland

2017-09-07 Thread S.Allen
Package: nautilus
Version: 3.25.92-1
Followup-For: Bug #622810

As subject: It looks like I'm running wayland by default. I have 'single-click
to open', enabled in Nauilus options. Doesn't work in this version, double
click does. Thanks.

You guys/gals are doing a great job with Gnome. I like what 3.26 is going to
look like, when baked!

Bug#873564: quiterss: [WishList] New version upstream

2017-08-28 Thread S.Allen
Package: quiterss
Version: 0.18.6+dfsg-1
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

Hi;

Upstream has released two updates recently to this branch. Because one of the
desired changes was requested by moi, I'd appreciate having the new version.

Usually I build it myself, but in this case since I'm running Gnome DE, I have
to pull in quite a few libs from the kde project. Therefore I assume as the
packager of this package, you most likely have your build environment set up?

Anyways, appreciate anything you can do if you have time. Thanks.

Bug#861210: gnome-settings-daemon: Online-Accounts borked again

2017-04-25 Thread S.Allen
Package: gnome-settings-daemon
Version: 3.22.2-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

Gnome-Online-Accounts specifically the google account plugin isn't working -
won't accept my login credentials as valid. Also when this happens, shouldn't
Gnome notify the end user? It doesn't presently, so I have no idea how long
this has been borked, I only noticed it this morning.

Bug#857811: synaptic: On Launch Synaptic Immediately Shuts Down w/Error

2017-03-15 Thread S.Allen
Package: synaptic
Version: 0.84.2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Dear Maintainer,

The following error is shown, once it's OK'd, Synaptic closes.

E: The value 'testing-proposed-updates' is invalid for APT::Default-Release as
such a release is not available in the sources
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.

That is a source that Synaptic picked itself, not me - and damned if I can find
where this is configured on my system, in order to delete the offending line in
order to relaunch/use Synaptic Package Manager. This app needs some love, see
previous bug filed (not as serious as this one, but a usability bug).
