Bug#864888: ITP: zimg -- z.lib library

2017-06-16 Thread Sanjeev
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist

* Package name: zimg
  Version : 2.5.1
  Upstream Author : https://github.com/sekrit-twc/zimg
* URL : https://github.com/sekrit-twc/zimg
* License : WTFPL
  Programming Lang: C++, C
  Description : The "z" library implements the commonly required
  image processing basics of scaling, colorspace conversion, and depth
  conversion. A simple API enables conversion between any supported
  formats to operate with minimal knowledge from the programmer. All
  library routines were designed from the ground-up with correctness,
  flexibility, and thread-safety as first priorities. Allocation,
  buffering, and I/O are cleanly separated from processing, allowing
  the programmer to adapt "z" to many scenarios.

Dear Maintainer,

The gpsd source package contains scripts that are useful to show
correct operation of the daemon. These include gpsd.php and the
contrib/ directory.

Although gpsd.php is packaged, at:
/usr/share/doc/gpsd-clients/examples/gpsd.php.gz
it would be useful if the contrib/ directory is also made available.

Bug#749018: bumblebee-nvidia: nvidia uvm problem

2014-05-22 Thread Sanjeev
Package: bumblebee-nvidia
Version: 3.2.1-5
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
 ineffective)?
   * What was the outcome of this action?
   * What outcome did you expect instead?

When i tried run

primusrun blender

cuda fails to initialize, and complains uvm module not loaded

After searching for solution, i found this command makes cuda-acceleraed
applications work

modprobe --force-modversion nvidia-uvm

But after quiting the application, bumblebee fails to unload both nvidia and
nvidia-uvm module,

There is a fix upstream , which can also help to resolve this

Hi Oliver,

one good piece of news: it's not a bug! It's a missing/false snmp.conf.

Copy the /usr/share/doc/netdisco-mibs-installer/contrib/snmp.conf to
/etc/snmp/snmp.conf and follow the hints inside the snmp.conf example file:

Change /usr/local/netdisco to the directory you installed netdisco-mibs
into...

That's it.

Regards,
Tilo

Bug#602271: netdisco-common: netdisco fails with call to SNMP::Info::_global_layers at line 1252

2010-11-03 Thread Sanjeev Gupta
Package: netdisco-common
Version: 1.0-1

This is a clean, new, debian install.

I have used netdisco before, on other debian boxes. Both from an
upstream tarball, and Oliver's packages.

I have installed all three netdisco packages, but not yet started configuring
netdisco-frontend.
