Bug#799585: fails to display captured video stream and reports gl error 1281

2015-09-20 Thread Sergei Ianovich
Package: cheese
Version: 3.16.1-1
Severity: important

Cheese prints this repeatedly as it fails:
---8<---
(cheese:5572): Cogl-WARNING **:
driver/gl/gl/cogl-texture-driver-gl.c:488: GL error (1281): Invalid
value

(cheese:5572): Cogl-WARNING **: driver/gl/cogl-util-gl.c:96: GL error

value

(cheese:5572): Cogl-WARNING **: driver/gl/cogl-util-gl.c:96: GL error
(1281): Invalid value

A green rectangular is displayed. The stream is captured normally. I can
see it in VLC and cheese can take photos.

Bug#690902: gnome-shell: seg fault randomly

2015-09-16 Thread Sergei Ianovich
Package: gnome-shell

I think I'm hitting a variant of this bug. It happens often when the laptop
is on battery power, and rarely when on AC power.

Followed by X restart logging.

The bug seems to be triggered in libc. The call site of the libc function seems
to have been moved to gdbus code.

Since I can reproduce the bug more or less reliably, I can do some printf
debugging. Are there any ideas where to start?

Are there any plans to package node-0.12 and io.js?

If so, is there any ETA?
