Bug#754074: Server no longer compatible and protocol compliant

2014-07-07 Thread Simon Tennant
Package: buddycloud-server
Version: 0.3.5-2

This package is for the Buddycloud node.js server from the source at
https://github.com/buddycloud/buddycloud-server is no longer protocol
compliant (spec http://xmpp.org/extensions/inbox/buddycloud-channels.html)
and is deprecated and unmaintained.

(The protocol compliant server is now developed using the code at
https://github.com/buddycloud/buddycloud-server-java and packaged using the
scripts at
https://github.com/buddycloud/buddycloud-package/tree/master/projects/buddycloud-server-java/debian
and
avaliable at
http://downloads.buddycloud.com/packages/debian/nightly/buddycloud-server-java/
)

I recommend removing the buddycloud-server and replacing it with the
buddycloud-server-java package.

Bug#349966: unable to compile support for mceusb2 driver

2006-01-26 Thread Simon Tennant
Package: lirc-modules-source
Version: 0.7.2-2

When I try to build support for the mceusb2 driver, compilation fails.
It appears that this driver, although included is not mentioned in the
debianised Makefile.

setting LIRC_MODULES=lirc_mceusb2 I receive the following output from
the compile:

sudo debian/rules binary-modules KSRC=/usr/src/linux

sed -e s!\$KVERS!`sed -n -e '/UTS_RELEASE/s/^[^]*\([^]*\).*$/\1/p'
/usr/src/linux/include/linux/version.h`!g; s!\$KSRC!/usr/src/linux!;
s!\$KARCH!amd64!; s!\$KEMAIL!!; s!\$KMAINT!!; s!\$KDREV!Custom.1.00!;
s!\$DEBDATE!Thu, 26 Jan 2006 11:37:19 +0100! debian/control.in
debian/control
dh_testdir
# Add here commands to compile the package.
/usr/bin/make debconf
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/modules/lirc'
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `lirc_mceusb2', needed by
`debconf'.  Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/modules/lirc'
make: *** [build-stamp] Error 2

I am building against the 2.6.12 kernel tree.
