Yes Ondřej you are right, is going to be removed.
But is not already, and PHP7.3 is still as RC.

Could you please consider to add support to current supported versions

Looks like this is the case.
I notice that there is

Author: Hannes Reinecke <h...@suse.de>
Date: Fri Nov 23 14:12:39 2012 +0100

udev: path_id - handle Hyper-V devices

Hyper-V has an abstract bus, which gets renumbered on guest
startup. So instead of the bus numbers we should be using
the device GUIDs, which can be retrieved from the 'device_id'
sysfs attribute.

That doesn't seem to handle network interfaces though.

That said, this doesn't look like a Debian specific problem. So it's probably
best if you raise this upstream at https://github.com/systemd/systemd

Bug#812415: kernel Oops (NULL pointer dereference) while mounting drbd device

2016-01-23 Thread Fernando Soto
Package: linux-image-4.3.0-0.bpo.1-amd64
Version: 4.3.3-5~bpo8+1

Kernel:
# uname -a
Linux bac240a15n 4.3.0-0.bpo.1-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.3.3-5~bpo8+1 (2016-01-07)
x86_64 GNU/Linux

Libc6
# dpkg -s libc6 | grep Version
Version: 2.19-18+deb8u1

I have seen this Oops a few times while mounting a drbd block device

/bin/mount -onoatime,barrier=0,nouser_xattr,noacl /dev/drbd1 /replicated

It is not easily reproducible though. I saw this on VMware ESX environment as
well as in Citrix XEN.

This issue occasionally happens while shutting down a system with a drbd block

I have traced it back to this line in the drbd module:

0x297e8 is in nla_put_status_info (include/linux/list.h:189).

Bug#810247: Hyper-V network adapters are mapped to a different interface (ethN) on every boot

2016-01-08 Thread Fernando Soto
Fixing this in udev will cause issues like reported in #431190.
The persistent-net udev rules are not created in virtual environments to avoid
issues with cloning/migrating VMs.

I was also unable to reproduce the issue on a VMware ESX server VM, despite the
fact that no net udev rules are created.
And why it happens with Hyper-V only in kernel 3.16, not 3.2 or 4.2?

In my case apache was running and as I can see no invoke-rc.d was
called (last line)

Exactly which version of apache2 did you have installed at that time?
Was that 2.4.10-10+deb8u1?

Thanks in advance,
Stefan

Stefan

I can confirm this is present on:
stable / apache2 2.4.10-10+deb8u1 amd64
testing / apache2 2.4.16-3 amd64

And this happens when you are also using libapache2-mpm-itk (same
version for stable and testing)

libapache2-mpm-itk 2.4.7-02-1.1 amd64

I think this:

There is more than one MPM loaded. Do not proceed due to undefined

should not happen... But as I said the pulled code comes from apache2,
so apache2 maintainers might have some ideas why is this happening.

There is more than one MPM...
This is present using libapache2-mpm-itk that on
/etc/apache2/mods-enabled/mpm_itk.load line: 1 says:

# Depends: mpm_prefork

# a2dismod mpm_prefork
ERROR: The following modules depend on mpm_prefork and need to be
disabled first: mpm_itk

For testing (on my stretch machine) I disabled mpm_itk and reinstall
libapache2-mod-php5, in this case this does not show any trouble.

Enabling again mpm_itk and reinstalling libapache2-mod-php5, in this
case this show:

The problem sould be on /usr/share/apache2/apache2-maintscript-helper

Ondřej Surý, thanks for reassign this bug to apache2

Cheers,
Ondrej

I have a favor to ask though. Would you be willing to write tests for
your breakages that could be included in upstream sources? I am doing
full analysis of FAILED TESTS differences before each new PHP release

of the tests, so it would be tremendous help if you could either write a
full tests (phpt), or just simple snippets for the code that could be
incorporated into the tests.

Ondrej , don't know if this could help, this is my first PHPT.
I don't know how to test it without a server up and running to send the
curl call.
Please review the included file curl_cookiefile.php I think it could be
a good start.
This script help me to check that this is working on previous versions
of php and in newer versions.

I think this only applies to #780764

Bug#780627: live-build - Error building binary tarball

2015-03-16 Thread Yadickson Soto
Package: live-build
Version: 4.0.3-1

Hi all,

I am testing live-build 4.0.3 for building Debian Linux Live CD.
I am using Debian GNU/Linux Jessie

$ lb config -b tar --compression gzip --chroot-filesystem plain lb build

However, when running binary_tar script, it produces the following error:

[2015-03-03 11:47:55] lb binary_netboot
[2015-03-03 11:47:55] lb binary_tar
P: Begin building binary tarball...
tar: live-image-i386.: Cannot stat: No such file or directory
tar: Exiting with failure status due to previous errors
P: Begin unmounting filesystems...

There is a error inside the script

/usr/lib/live/build/binary_tar

I suggest replace the line:

tar cf ${LIVE_IMAGE_NAME}-${LIVE_IMAGE_ARCHITECTURE}.tar.tar
${LIVE_IMAGE_NAME}-${LIVE_IMAGE_ARCHITECTURE}.

by:

tar cf ${LIVE_IMAGE_NAME}-${LIVE_IMAGE_ARCHITECTURE}.tar.tar binary

This fix the error.

Best regards.

 TODO: promote wbar-config.

 Hi Rodolfo,

thank you! I think i'm really done now. We need a new release. :)

I've updated the README and added some paragraphs about wbar-config and
make-conf.sh and removed some old lines and cleaned up a little. Patch
is attached, let me know what you think about it.

Forget about my suggestion to reintroduce the old icons. Although i know
about the original authors now, it is much easier if i handle a default
configuration by myself within the Debian system. It also makes the
source package of wbar smaller and easier to maintain if you don't have
 to bother with external ressources.

I've checked the fonts again and indeed, it seems wbar will start anyway
even without a correct font path. Done!

I've discovered another typo in wbar-config (licence - license) and the
version of wbar-config should be updated to 2.3.2 for your next release)

And it was necessary to patch Makefile.am in the pixmaps folder to copy
wbar.png to the right place again. Patch is attached.

Last but not least: The COPYING file states that Wbar is licensed under
the GPL-2+ (the + is important) which means you grant everyone the right
to redistribute and modify wbar either under the GPL-2 or any later
version. I personally think that's a good idea, but i wanted to ask
again if that's your intention. If yes, great, no changes are needed but
i guess you should change the license on the official homepage, too.

 That's all for now

 Regards
 Markus

I think that the problem is in /usr/share/i18n/locales/es_MX. It could have

Some characters in the patch 08-fix-spanish-translation.patch has a bad

I thing this might be corrected by converting the patch file into UTF-8
I attach the file with a screenshoot and the patch

Bug#643692: [gnome-sudoku] gnome-sudoku not working with/without python-gobject-cairo

2011-11-04 Thread Carlos C Soto

Package: gnome-sudoku
Version: 1:3.0.2-2

Confirmed that gnome-sudoku is not showing any window if python-gobject-cairo is
not installed.

The error is the same reported before.

When python-gobject-cairo is installed then gnome-sudoku shows a screen with
cells in multiple colors, and in some cells is not possible to see the number.
The software is unusable.

I attach a screenshot. No warnings appears but:
/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/gi/types.py:44: Warning: g_object_set_qdata:
assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed

  return info.invoke(*args)

I hope you can find the issue, and thanks beforehand.

Bug#630834: [libgl1-mesa-dri] This bug looks like has been fixed

2011-06-20 Thread Carlos C Soto

Package: libgl1-mesa-dri
Version: 7.10.2-3

I has just upgrade my system and I had found that xorg is searching for the
libraries in the right path.

I had found this in the Xorg log:

$ grep 965 /var/log/Xorg.0.log
[19.771] (II) intel(0): [DRI2] DRI driver: i965
[20.344] (II) AIGLX: Loaded and initialized /usr/lib/dri/i965_dri.so

So, I had removed the link /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/dri (and the folder
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/) and everything work just fine again.

Thanks a lot developers !

Bug#630834: [libgl1-mesa-dri] AIGLX error: dlopen of /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/dri/i965_dri.so failed No such file or directory

2011-06-17 Thread Carlos C Soto

Package: libgl1-mesa-dri
Version: 7.10.2-3
Severity: normal

When I enter to my desktop I found that composite was not enabled. Then I try to
found the issue.

The /var/log/Xorg.0.log file give me this errors:
# grep (EE) /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old
[ 181.196] (EE) AIGLX error: dlopen of
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/dri/i965_dri.so failed
(/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/dri/i965_dri.so: cannot open shared object file: No
such file or directory)

[ 181.196] (EE) AIGLX: reverting to software rendering
[ 181.196] (EE) AIGLX error: dlopen of
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/dri/swrast_dri.so failed
(/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/dri/swrast_dri.so: cannot open shared object file: No
such file or directory)

[ 181.196] (EE) GLX: could not load software renderer

When I search for /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/dri/i965_dri.so the file does not
exists.

When ask dpkg about this file it shows:

# dpkg --search i965_dri.so
ia32-libs: /usr/lib32/dri/i965_dri.so
libgl1-mesa-dri: /usr/lib/dri/i965_dri.so

and apt-file (updated) shows:
# apt-file search i965_dri.so
ia32-libs: /usr/lib32/dri/i965_dri.so
libgl1-mesa-dri: /usr/lib/dri/i965_dri.so
libgl1-mesa-dri: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/dri/i965_dri.so
libgl1-mesa-dri-dbg: /usr/lib/debug/usr/lib/dri/i965_dri.so
libgl1-mesa-dri-dbg: /usr/lib/debug/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/dri/i965_dri.so

So, apt-file says that the file shound be supplied by libgl1-mesa-dri

I try apt-get install libgl1-mesa-dri --reinstall without any success.

Finally I just create the folder and made a soft link:
mkdir /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/
ln -s /usr/lib/dri/ /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/

And the problem was solved.

Finally, I dont know if this is a problem of xserver-xorg or belongs to
libgl1-mesa-dri, I'm just reporting the issue I found.

Bug#609982: xen-tools: btrfs support for domU creation is broken

2011-01-14 Thread Roberto Suarez Soto
Package: xen-tools
Version: 4.2-1
Severity: normal

Support for domU creation using btrfs is broken. If you try to use it
(--fs btrfs), xen-create-image exits with the message:

The filesystem creation hash is bogus for filesystem : btrfs

The problem lies in this check (line 3382):

if ( $command =~ /([^ ]+) (.*)$/ )

This supposes that $command will conform to command -o option,
but $CONFIG{make_fs_btrfs} is defined thus:

$CONFIG{ 'make_fs_btrfs' }= 'mkfs.btrfs';

And it fails. I've fixed it changing mkfs.btrfs for mkfs.btrfs -d
single, which is the nearest to a no-op that I've found :-) Ideally,
though, the check above should be made a little more intelligent so it picked
up mkfs.btrfs without arguments too.

Thanks in advance.

Could you update to the kernel, X Server, and 2D driver in unstable and

Bug#485864: mysql-query-browser: apply patch ?

2008-06-19 Thread Carlos C Soto

Well merged, it is the same problem, sorry for duplicating.

Loking at the suggested patch [1] it enters on an infinite loop, this is
why the 100% of CPU.

Also I run the test to see when the program is on deadlock:
* Start using a default schema - deadlock
* Select an schema executing use databasename; - deadlock
* Select an schema with the UI - deadlock
* Using UI: File / Select schema / Choose / Ok - deadlock
* Executing select user, host from mysql.user ; - works ok

The patch only disable the pause at the MQQueryDispatcher::get_sps
method, the patch should try to escape from the infinite loop after a
timeout or something, the line is:

while(!req-is_complete()) ;

req is defined as an object from the class SPFetchRequest wich is an
inherith class from MQQueryDispatcher::Request wich define the method
is_complete as:

bool is_complete() const { return complete; }

I don't use C++ for a while but I don't see any problem but complete
property is never changed.

The method before MQQueryDispatcher::get_tables has the same procedure
but commented like this:

 //while(!req-is_complete())
 //  ;

I don't know if commenting while(!req-is_complete()) this is wright or
wrong, it seems to work.

set up the Debian system as soon as possible to:
1. use a standard word-processing package that can read various MS and

  2. use Skype (audio only)
  3. use a standard web browser

Bug#440142: ttf-dejavu: Wrong font name for various Serif Oblique

2007-08-30 Thread Carlos C Soto
Package: ttf-dejavu
Version: 2.19-1
Severity: normal

ttf-dejavu includes a set of great fonts, but looks like a particular
group is set incorrectly: Serif*Oblique
The font name is actually Serif*Italic

/var/lib/defoma/x-ttcidfont-conf.d/dirs/TrueType
DejaVuSerif*Oblique*
DejaVuSerif-BoldOblique.ttf -
/usr/share/fonts/truetype/ttf-dejavu/DejaVuSerif-BoldOblique.ttf

DejaVuSerifCondensed-Oblique.ttf -
/usr/share/fonts/truetype/ttf-dejavu/DejaVuSerifCondensed-Oblique.ttf
DejaVuSerif-Oblique.ttf -
/usr/share/fonts/truetype/ttf-dejavu/DejaVuSerif-Oblique.ttf

But this links are wrong because the font is not named Oblique, the name is
Italic
DejaVuSerif-BoldOblique.ttf - DejaVuSerif-BoldItalic.ttf
DejaVuSerifCondensed-BoldOblique.ttf - DejaVuSerifCondensed-BoldItalic.ttf
DejaVuSerif-BoldOblique.ttf - DejaVuSerif-BoldItalic.ttf
DejaVuSerif-Oblique.ttf - DejaVuSerif-Italic.ttf

Same happends on /var/lib/defoma/fontconfig.d/D
DejaVu-Serif*Oblique*
* DejaVu-Serif-Bold-Oblique.ttf
* DejaVu-Serif-Condensed-Bold-Oblique.ttf
* DejaVu-Serif-Condensed-Oblique.ttf
* DejaVu-Serif-Oblique.ttf

Also the /etc/defoma/hints/ttf-dejavu.hints is wrong.

Thanks for packing this great fonts !
