Soumyadip? Well, I recently had discussions with Primoz Peterlin of Freefonts. Bengali glyphs are already in place in the latest Freefonts. Hindi and Gujarati glyphs should be in, by the next release of Freefonts. I've not yet managed to contact the other teams, as my exams are on currently. I'm hoping that we'll have full support for Indic languages in Freefonts in the new year. Ok, thanks a lot for the info. Internet access in India is a bit spotty
at the moment, because of union troubles, at the telcos. I hope to get
the upstream developers to confirm whether the gnu.org wordlist is
identical to the original, in a couple of days. If any emergency
situation arises, then feel free to do an NMU, with the gnu.org
wordlist.
