Package: eom Version: 1.8.0+dfsg1-4+b2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
whenever updating an image, e.g. after rotating it, eom overwrites both file permissions and group id. It seems to use an 7177 mask, that is only the owner keeps access to the updated image. Because of this it is impossible to share images between multiple users without having to manually reset file permissions and/or group id. This does not happen when using shotwell or gimp and imho it should not with eom either.
