Bug#666565: GNOME 3 fallback mode

2012-04-02 Thread Thierry BECHE
Hello,

Same bug here for libreoffice applications (under GNOME 3).

For information, if I use the fallback mode (choosing GNOME Classic
when opening the session under GDM), the problem disappears.

Bug#629168: console-setup: Wrong keyboard configuration after upgrading package kbd

2011-06-04 Thread Thierry BECHE
Package: console-setup
Version: 1.73
Severity: important

On the linux console, the keyboard is not configured (I obtain QWERTY instead
of AZERTY).

The problem appears just after upgrading the package kbd from 1.15.3-1 to
1.15.3-2.

(don't know if I have to attribute this bug to console-setup or kbd; the kbd
initscript says Skipping font and keymap setup (handled by console-setup))

Bug#627528: virtualbox-ose: udevd failed to execute /usr/share/virtualbox/VBoxCreateUSBNode.sh

2011-05-21 Thread Thierry BECHE
Package: virtualbox-ose
Version: 4.0.4-dfsg-2+b1

When booting, I have this error on the console:

The error is No such file or directory.

In my case, /usr is not on the root partition: I think udevd tries to run the
command before /usr is mounted.

Bug#624742: apt-get purge does not remove config-files

Package: apt

If a package is removed keeping the config-files (using apt-get autoremove),
it is further impossible to completely purge the package (using apt-get

Using dpkg -P does the job.

2010-08-10 Thread Thierry BECHE
Package: freedesktop-sound-theme

The files desktop-login.ogg and desktop-logout.ogg are missing.

gnome-session-canberra uses them (see libcanberra-login-sound.desktop and

So, it is not possible to produce sounds when starting / closing a session.
