TBH, I'm not sure if it's right that I've submitted the bug here. Since
it's a "Raspbian" system.

Bug#464943: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=84589 has the fix

2008-03-10 Thread Thomas K.
I can confirm that the fix mentioned at
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=84589 worked for me.

That is removing ~/.kde/share/config/kresources/notes/stdrc and
restarting knotes/kontact.

I am not sure what really triggered the bug as this is a kde 3.5 install and I
did not try to import notes from an older kde version.

greetings,
thomas

Can you confirm this now works, using a libwxgtk2.6-0 newer than

Bug#469596: kontact integration broken

2008-03-05 Thread Thomas K.
Package: basket
Version: 1.0.2-2
Severity: normal

--- Please enter the report below this line. ---
since the update to kde 3.5.9 basket does not integrate into kontact anymore.
the culprit seems to be in /usr/share/services/kontact/basket.deskop
all the other (still working) components got
X-KDE-KontactPluginVersion=6
in it, while basket still is at 5.
manually changing the number made kontact crash.
it would be really nice to see basket integrating into kontact again.

greetings,
thomas

Bug#449101: not installable

oolite is not installable in sid due to unmet dependencies:

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.

Bug#444268: need rebuild against libwnck22

2007-09-27 Thread Thomas K.
Package: python-gnome2-desktop

libwnck18 is not in the sid repo anymore. It has been replaced with libwnck22.
This renders this package not installable. Of course everything that depends
on it is not installable too (like miro player).

that is:
G_SLICE=always-malloc amule
and the preferences dialog comes up fine.

eSpeak does not use jackd. eSpeak (and myself) know nothing about jack.
I use eSpeak OK here with either portaudio 18 or portaudio 19 without
 jack installed.

I don't know nothing about jack too. I did not have in installed before but
after I got jackd espeak works fine.

:~$ espeak
JACK tmpdir identified as [/dev/shm]

Perhaps your portaudio library has been configured to use jack ?

I can't remeber configuring it, esp. nor for jack as I didn't have jack before
anyway. Maybe it is some default.

Bug#425580: current state?

2007-06-26 Thread Thomas K.
Hi!
I just wanted to ask if there is any progress on getting the new version in.

On a testsystem I have been able to use some .deb created with alien from .rpm
to start my project but of course a real debian package would be much more
satisfying.

I am not a debian developer myself (mere user here) so unfortuneatly I
probably can't help much.

Greetings,
Thomas

Bug#379137: SIGSEGV: segmentation violation

2006-12-20 Thread Thomas K.
Am Mittwoch, 20. Dezember 2006 11:29 schrieben Sie:
Without looking at the code I'd think that the BOINC client only parses the
projects/ and slots/ directory in the current working directory, but I'm
not sure if it even does this.
If you start the client, that you got from the BOINC website, in your home
directory does it also segfault? And could you please test if version
5.4.11-3 also segfaults? You can download it here:
 http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/b/boinc/boinc-client_5.4.11-3_i386.d
eb

The one from the BOINC website also sigfaults when called from my home
directory giving me a slightly different output:

SIGSEGV: segmentation violationStack trace (6 frames):
./Desktop/Downloads/BOINC/boinc[0x80947ed]
[0xb7f9d420]
/lib/tls/libc.so.6(vsprintf+0x8b)[0xb7ea5cdb]
/lib/tls/libc.so.6(sprintf+0x2e)[0xb7e922ee]
./Desktop/Downloads/BOINC/boinc[0x8094e0a]
[0x2f2f2f2f]

Exiting...

5.4.11-3 does the same as 5.4.11-4.

I'm still interested in the strace output, the last 100 lines are enough:
   tail -n 100 strace_output_file

Ok. Done.

And it would be nice if you could run the BOINC client in the GNU Debugger
(gdb) and send me the output, because I can't reproduce this bug, and
 therefore I can't debug it.

Also done. Good luck with the debugging though it now looks more like a
problem in upstream than in the debian-package. Thanks for your help!

P.S.: Please also CC [EMAIL PROTECTED] when replying, thanks.

Ok.

Grüße,
Thomas
