Bug#348680: No icons in open file dialog

2006-08-28 Thread Tomek Jarzynka
Is there any chance that I could try to workaround this bug,
i.e. how to check which icon theme GTK uses and perhaps create
some symlinks somewhere so GTK finds the icons?

Not really, I am not a GTK programmer.
But I could provide you with a VNC session on my computer so
you could check this out.
All apps seem to be affected (firefox, gimp among the ones I use
often)

I'm not sure how to set an icon theme when not in gnome.
I tried setting it in gnome to many different settings that work inside
gnome, but not in KDE.
