Bug#582716: Fixed upstream

2010-06-02 Thread Vincent Ordy
Hi,

I had been experiencing this problem as well.

The upstream commit b44f19d7038f7e6182db4d29aee39dab569193fd fixed it
for me. (I applied it on the Debian phonon-4.6.0really4.4.1 sources
and rebuilt the packages.)

http://gitorious.org/phonon/phonon/commit/b44f19d7038f7e6182db4d29aee39dab569193fd

Regards

Bug#576457: pulseaudio: fails to start

2010-04-05 Thread Vincent Ordy

Same error here.

In pa_make_secure_dir (core-util.c:197), uid=-1 and gid=-1.

HAVE_FCHOWN is not defined so their values are not fixed, and the
comparaisons at line 267-268 fail.

I changed uid and gid values in gdb and it worked.
