Bug#371879: gnome-panel: folders in Places menu now open in gthumb!?
Package: gnome-panel Version: 2.14.1-1 Severity: normal I did a dist-upgrgade today and rebooted. Now, the folders (bookmarks?) in my Places menu open with gThumb, making them completely useless. Bug#328738: proposed patch to fix this bug
Modestas Vainius wrote: Please, fix this bug ASAP, because it's grave, but trivial to fix (either by maintainer or NMU). I've had a fix for this ready for several days now, but literally as I switched to my IRC window to ping my sponsor, I noticed that there had been an NMU. I got the initial bug report mail six hours *after* the NMU happened, and since then I honestly have not had the time to rebase my changes off the NMU. I would have more than enough time to fix it this weekend, but in 10 hours I have to leave town for four days, away from all my Debian systems. I'm sorry for both my lack of time and the bad timing of all this, and if four days is too long to wait I suggest that someone NMU. Thanks in advance to anyone that has the time. If it hasn't been fixed by the time I get back, I will do it myself first thing. Cheers, Zack -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Bug#322961: kaffeine-mozilla: jri*.h use All rights reserved copyright boilerplate and have no other license info
On 2005 August 13 Saturday 19:04, Steve Langasek wrote: So are you filing this bug because Netscape isn't mentioned in the copyright file, or because you actually believe we don't have a proper license to them? There are equivalently named files in the mozilla source and the mozilla-dev package, so I would be surprised if these files haven't in fact been relicensed under the GPL. In that case, the copyright file includes the correct license, it just doesn't include a complete list of copyright holders, and that's not really an RC bug. This issue was discovered during package checks by my AM. I've brought it up with upstream, and their response consisted of the exact same files exist in kdebase/nsplugins - so I went to KDE upstream with the same issue, and got a single response_. So, no communication I've initiated has convinced me that we have (or anyone has) a license to distribute the files in question. That said, I could certainly be wrong and be asking the wrong people. I sincerely hope so. .. _response: http://lists.kde.org/?l=kde-core-develm=112314862006216w=2 I filed the bug, at his request, to document our findings and prepare for the possibility that the package would have to be removed from the archive. In case this is all a misunderstanding, though, the copyright file still does need to be updated. Thanks, Zack pgpPE39757c2S.pgp Description: PGP signature

Okay, an update with 1.2.4-1: amarok's ui freezes (usually in random mode, but not always) very reliably every time I use it. Playback continues until the end of the song. Package: openoffice.org-kde Version: 1.1.3-4 Severity: normal Well, I installed openoffice.org-kde and unchecked the 'Use OpenOffice.org dialogs' option. Restarting openoffice.org numerous times (the processes were not still running) didn't give me KDE dialogs. Bug#293690: how do i read /usr/share/doc/aish/*.gz?

Bug#289558: kaffeine: Playlist clears when selecting opendvd
On Sun January 9 2005 14:43, Rehm wrote: Playlist clears when selecting opendvd. More in conditions: I just started up prgm A video file gets playing automatically I click on the go tab. I click on the opendvd icon. Are you sure it's clearing the playlist and not just changing to the playlist called 'DVD' ? I'm not able to reproduce the bug here. Bug#292897: alsa-base: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1

Bug#288891: kaffeine: Incorrect video file playback after loadup and rtmouse/play from playlist
Jagg, I tracked the bug down. When you double-click (or right-click and select play, or just press enter) on an item in the filelist, sometimes it just plays whatever was already playing. You knew that. But for me, it only does it if kaffeine is paused when I tell it to play something else. If it's playing or stopped, then it does what it should. Is it the same for you, or no?
