Bug#914883: sane-utils: Split saned out as a seperate binary package?

2018-11-28 Thread Zhang Jingqiang
Package: sane-utils
Version: 1.0.27-3.1
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

saned install service files and offer network service,
which is not really needed for local usage like others.

I think it's better to split this out, and make it not
to be recommanded to be installed by libsane.

Thanks

Bug#890870: linux-image-4.14.0-3-amd64: Failed to probe sata controller at pci addr 01:00.0 with error -5

2018-02-19 Thread Zhang Jingqiang
Package: src:linux
Version: 4.14.13-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

Since kernel version 4.14, the probe of sata controller at pci address
:01:00.0 is *sometimes* broken, and it's *totally* broken now with the
recent version 4.14.17/4.15.4.

Below is some message when failed:

  ahci :01:00.0: enabling device ( -> 0002)
  ahci :01:00.0: SSS flag set, parallel bus scan disabled
  ahci :01:00.0: controller reset failed (0x)
  ahci: probe of :01:00.0 failed with error -5

Everything works fine with 4.13.
I have tried libahci.ignore_sss=1 and libata.force=noncq, but no help.

I can help test patches if you can provide some.

Thanks

Bug#867129: virtualbox: Please build to use /sbin/ip instead of ifconfig in VBoxNetAdpCtl

2017-07-03 Thread Zhang Jingqiang
Package: virtualbox
Version: 5.1.22-dfsg-2
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

Currently VBoxNetAdpCtl can not assign address to vboxnetX interfaces if
net-tools is not installed.
In source file src/VBox/HostDrivers/adpctl/VBoxNetAdpCtl.cpp, /sbin/ip
is also supported by defining macro RT_OS_LINUX in function
chooseAddressCommand().
But "strace VBoxNetAdpCtl -h" doesn't shown that /sbin/ip is detected
at startup, so I guess that macro isn't defined when building.

Please define RT_OS_LINUX, and add "iproute2 | net-tools" to recommends.

Bug#850490: grub-common: Some chinese chars can't be displayed with the included unicode.pf2

2017-01-06 Thread Zhang Jingqiang
Package: grub-common
Version: 2.02~beta3-3
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

Some chars such as "载" int the following grub.cfg file can't be displayed
with the font file /usr/share/grub/unicode.pf2.
I download the stable version grub-common_2.02-beta2-22+deb8u1_amd64 and
use the font file included in it, that char can be displayed correctly.

I install ttf-unifont package, and use `grub-mkfont -o unicode.pf2 `,
and use the result font file, the char is displayed, but there are some problems
with the font size as there's "underline" got displayed between lines.

The file size in current version is 1363163, while that is 2400500 in the
stable version.
So I guess the current version doesn't contain all the unicode chars.

Just use the stable version is an acceptable solution for me,
though it may be better to regenerate one use the most recent version of
unifont.

Thanks

Bug#845180: gitlab: Branches doesn't work as branch.target is already a sha value

2016-11-20 Thread Zhang Jingqiang

Hello,
Logs when accessing Branches:

The branch.target in diverging_commit_counts is already a sha string,
to fix the problem, just remove the ".sha" method call.

It seems to be a type change of branch.target, from another object to string.
And it seems there is more code need to be fixed in app/models/repository.rb.

Bug#844576: gitlab: Pipeline status is always pending if no build fail

2016-11-16 Thread Zhang Jingqiang
Package: gitlab
Version: 8.13.3+dfsg1-2
Severity: important

Hello,
After upgrade to 8.13.3, Pipeline doesn't work like before.
The problem is, only builds in the first stage run,
if they fail, then the pipeline status changed to fail,
if they success, build in following stages will not run,
and if no builds following, pipeline status will always be pending.

The problem just make CI broken, so I mark this bug as important.

Thanks

Bug#843497: systemd-networkd block the shutdown process of my nspawn container

2016-11-06 Thread Zhang Jingqiang
Package: systemd
Version: 232-2
Severity: normal

Hello,
I have a nspawn container, which has one bridged interface and one veth local
only interface,
which is called as "host0" and "ho" in the container.
The command to start the container by the service file is

 #/usr/bin/systemd-nspawn --quiet --keep-unit --boot --link-journal=try-guest
--network-veth -U --settings=override --machine=pstat-ci

The config file pstat-ci.nspawn is
  [Exec]
  Boot=on
  User=root
  PrivateUsers=off

  [Network]
  Bridge=br0
  VirtualEthernetExtra=nspawn:ho

I add systemd-networkd config files in the container as follow:
 /etc/systemd/network/80-dhcp.network:
  [Match]
  Name=host*

  [Network]
  DHCP=ipv4

 /etc/systemd/network/80-static.network:
  [Match]
  Name=ho

  [Network]
  Address=192.168.2.2/24

  [Route]
  Gateway=192.168.2.1
  Scope=link

When I stop the coresponding nspawn service, timeout happened, with log in the
container like this:
  Nov 07 12:26:32 pstat-ci systemd[1]: systemd-networkd.service: Service has no
hold-off time, scheduling restart.
  Nov 07 12:26:32 pstat-ci systemd[1]: systemd-networkd.service: Failed with
result 'exit-code'.
  Nov 07 12:26:32 pstat-ci systemd[1]: systemd-networkd.service: Unit entered
failed state.
  Nov 07 12:26:32 pstat-ci systemd[1]: Failed to start Network Service.
  Nov 07 12:26:32 pstat-ci systemd[1]: systemd-networkd.service: Main process
exited, code=exited, status=1/FAILURE
  Nov 07 12:26:32 pstat-ci systemd[1]: Stopped target Local File Systems (Pre).
  Nov 07 12:26:32 pstat-ci systemd[1]: Reached target Final Step.
  Nov 07 12:26:32 pstat-ci systemd[1]: Reached target Unmount All Filesystems.
  Nov 07 12:26:32 pstat-ci systemd-networkd[130]: Could not connect to bus:
Connection refused

And the service stop action takes about 90s to finish.

After I disabled systemd-networkd, and use interfaces(5) to config network, the
service stop action finish
in time, no more that 30s.

dbus is installed in the container.

Thanks

  Requires: libbson-1.0
  Libs: -L${libdir} -lmongoc-1.0 -lssl -lcrypto -lrt

So when use "pkg-config --libs libmongc-1.0" as build FLAGS, we need to install
libbson-dev
and the coresponding libssl dev package.

How about add the required dev packages to Depends field?

Thanks

Bug#828803: aptitude: SIGSEGV in debVersioningSystem::CheckDep from /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libapt-pkg.so.5.0

2016-06-27 Thread Zhang Jingqiang
Package: aptitude
Version: 0.8.1-1
Severity: normal

Hello,
I have previous kdepimlibs-data package installed, which has version
4:16.04.1-2.
After this morning's update, there's two experimental version in the repo,
4:16.04.1-1 and 4:16.04.2-1, then I try to install 4:16.04.2-1 (mark this
version to install),
and I got SIGSEGV.

There's no dbg package for this version of aptitude, so the backtrace attached
may be useless.

Thanks

Bug#825468: krdc: Lack of rdp support

2016-05-26 Thread Zhang Jingqiang
Package: krdc
Version: 4:16.04.1-1
Severity: important
Tags: patch

Hello,
freerdp-x11 need to be added to Build-Requires, as krdc's CMake file will check
for program "xfreerdp" to enable rdp support.
Patch included as attachment.

And kdoctools-dev is needed as Build-Requires to build docs, which may be
content of
a seperate krdc-doc package.

Thanks

Bug#825248: hgview-curses: Patch needed to work with mercurial 3.8.2

2016-05-24 Thread Zhang Jingqiang
Package: hgview-curses
Version: 1.9.0-1
Severity: important
Tags: patch

Hello,
mercurial 3.8.2 breaks hgview-curses, as function _getnodelineedgestail and
_drawedges
in file /usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/mercurial/graphmod.py add new arg
"echars".

I make a simple patch to workaround that, though I don't know exactly what
should be in "echars".
Anyhow the simple patch works for my usecase.

Thanks

Dear Maintainer,

It should build-depend on kgendesignerplugin, which install the needed cmake

And the optional prison-dev is not needed, as the really needed one is
kf5prison which
has not been released yet.

I can't reproduce it with my laptop now.
So there's must be something different with the pcap file I used.
And maybe this "bug" is also there with 4.2.5.
I found this bug with a pcap file captured from a CentOS 7 machine
and the captured traffic is coming from a Cisco switch mirror-dest port.
I will check on Monday.
> What difference in behaviour do you see between the two versions?
No obvious difference found.

I will send one on Monday.

No tty is available when waiting for plymouth-quit (5 minutes +, no timeout
set), I will check later with log level set to debug.

Thanks

Hello,
plymouth-quit.service is "static", whichcouldn't be enabled.
It won't "done" without any other service run something equal to
"plymouth --quit" (I guess).
The new revision of sddm just result into sddm waiting for
plymouth-quit forever.

Problem solved by deleting all plasma-rc file under .kde and .config and
recreate the desktop panels.

Package: plasma-workspace

Dear Maintainer,

It seems we need a kf5 based package to provide notification-daemon.
The kde4 one is plasma-widgets-workspace, and this package also privodes
the notification plasmoids, so I guess this is the right package to
provide notification-daemon.

Now I'm sure that plasma-workspace should provide notification-daemon,
according to file
/usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.notifications/metadata.desktop
, which provides org.kde.plasma.notifications.

so no openssl any more.

Hello,
I just checked your fcitx git package repo, and found that zenity is used in
src/ui/classic/fcitx-skin-installer.sh, which is not included in any binary
package. So please remove zenity from recommends, or add kde-baseapps-bin
as an alternative to zenity, as 'kdialog' is also supported there.

Sorry, I found that script as /usr/bin/fcitx-skin-installer in package
fcitx-bin, so it will be better to add 'zenity | kdialog' as recommends
to fcitx-bin.

Bug#781872: filezilla: can't delete chars in the input box under KDE desktop environment

Dear Maintainer,

Open filezilla and input server ip address, I can't delete them without
minimise the
window. This seems to be a wxwidget 3.0 issue.
The problem exists with my KDE desktop on which there's not so many gtk apps
installed.
I install Gnome3 on my another laptop and found that there's no such problem.

Bug#774054: kmail proxy setting doesn't work

2014-12-27 Thread Zhang Jingqiang
Package: kmail
Version: 4:4.14.2-2
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

I set kmail to use a socks proxy in kmail's proxy setting page.
But kmail doesn't use that proxy when connect to IMAP server.
When I update folders, I can capture the TCP SYN traffic with the IMAP server.
The TCP request to imap.googlemail.com is reset, and I can't access my Gmail
account.
