Bug#1003493: gadmin-openvpn-client: persistent files after uninstall of gadmin gui - killing otehers openvpn processes!
Package: gadmin-openvpn-client Version: 0.1.9-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, This affects gadmin-openvpn-client and server too. Once uninstalled you MUST delete these two persistent files too: gadmin-openvpn-client and gadmin-openvpn-server placed in /etc/init.d directory, otherwise any other openvpn precess set and launched as usual (without a gui) will be killed!! And you become crazy because there is not online help about this and it's like to find a needle in a haystack it's amazing. These files are not included in the package file list! Hope this can help. Bug#972818: okular: Wrong page order if printing a subset of pages
Package: okular Version: 4:20.08.1-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, I tried to print a set of pages (the even ones) in reverse order so that I can print a document double-side, after printing the odd ones. What happened depending on my print settings in the print dialog was: - If I selected "even pages" and "reverse order" I obtained also a blank page that resulted in an offset of the printing, e.g. behind page 3 was page 6 instead of page 4. I want to point out that the blank page was found in both "even" and "odd" printing job. Those pages weren't in the document. - If I manually inserted in "Pages" the values "10,8,6,4,2" the result was pages "2,4,6,8,10", even if "reverse order" was NOT checked. This obviously resulted in page 10 printed behind page 1, 8 behind page 3, and so on. What I did expect in both cases was being able to print pages 1,3,5,7,9 and then pages 10,8,6,4,2 . -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'oldstable'), (8, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.5.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages okular depends on: ii kinit 5.54.0-1 ii kio 5.54.1-1 ii libc6 2.30-8 ii libfreetype6 2.10.1-2 ii libjpeg62-turbo 1:1.5.2-2+b1 ii libkf5activities5 5.70.0-1 ii libkf5archive55.70.0-1 ii libkf5bookmarks5 5.70.0-1 ii libkf5codecs5 5.70.0-1 ii libkf5completion5 5.70.0-1 ii libkf5configcore5 5.70.0-1 ii libkf5configgui5 5.70.0-1 ii libkf5configwidgets5 5.70.0-1 ii libkf5coreaddons5 5.70.0-1 ii libkf5crash5 5.70.0-1 ii libkf5i18n5 5.70.0-1 ii libkf5iconthemes5 5.70.0-1 ii libkf5itemviews5 5.70.0-1 ii libkf5jobwidgets5 5.70.0-1 ii libkf5kexiv2-15.0.0 17.08.3-1 ii libkf5kiocore55.70.1-1 ii libkf5kiowidgets5 5.70.1-1 ii libkf5parts5 5.70.0-1 ii libkf5pty55.70.0-1 ii libkf5purpose-bin 5.70.0-2 ii libkf5purpose55.70.0-2 ii libkf5service-bin 5.70.0-1 ii libkf5service55.70.0-1 ii libkf5textwidgets55.70.0-1 ii libkf5wallet-bin 5.62.0-1+b1 ii libkf5wallet5 5.62.0-1+b1 ii libkf5widgetsaddons5 5.70.0-1 ii libkf5windowsystem5 5.70.0-1 ii libkf5xmlgui5 5.70.0-1+b1 ii libokular5core9 4:20.08.1-1 ii libphonon4qt5-4 4:4.10.2-1 ii libpoppler-qt5-1 20.09.0-2 ii libqca-qt5-2 2.2.1-2 ii libqmobipocket2 4:17.08.3-2+b1 ii libqt5core5a 5.14.2+dfsg-4 ii libqt5dbus5 5.14.2+dfsg-4 ii libqt5gui55.14.2+dfsg-4 ii libqt5printsupport5 5.14.2+dfsg-4 ii libqt5svg55.14.2-2 ii libqt5texttospeech5 5.14.2-2 ii libqt5widgets55.14.2+dfsg-4 ii libqt5xml55.14.2+dfsg-4 ii libspectre1 0.2.8-2 ii libstdc++610-20200418-1 ii phonon4qt54:4.10.2-1 ii zlib1g1:1.2.11.dfsg-2 Versions of packages okular recommends: ii cups-bsd 2.3.3-1 Versions of packages okular suggests: ii ghostscript9.27~dfsg-2+deb10u3 pn okular-extra-backends ii poppler-data 0.4.9-2 ii texlive-binaries 2020.20200327.54578-4+b1 pn unrar -- no debconf information

Bug#432517: Just upgraded from tetex to texlive. Latex package "caption" no longer works
Sorry for the delay. I upgraded from texlive2005 to texlive2007 on July 10. Previously, I used to compile documets with aastex document class and caption package without any problem. With the new version, the following tex file doesn't compile: %%% \documentclass[]{aastex} \usepackage[labelformat=simple]{caption} \title{Test} \author{Author} \begin{document} \maketitle \begin{abstract} abstract \end{abstract} \section{section 1} bla bla \end{document} %%% The problem is simply solved by changing the line \newcommand\captionbox{parbox[t]} in caption3.sty to a renewcommand, but then if I use another document class I get the opposite problem. Bug#351431: mailman: patch that adds support for virtual host based DEFAULT_SERVER_NAME
Package: mailman Severity: wishlist s patch lets you have a different DEFAULT_SERVER_NAME for defined virtual hosts. Useful because initial pages always refers to site DEFAULT_SERVER_NAME, even if lists are in an other language. A patch that adds a configuration variable to support this is included. The patch is made with dpatch. This is an usage example: # Required when setting any of its arguments. add_virtualhost(DEFAULT_URL_HOST, DEFAULT_EMAIL_HOST) add_virtualhost('it.gnu.org', 'it.gnu.org') #- # The default language for this server. DEFAULT_SERVER_LANGUAGE = 'es' VIRTUAL_HOSTS_LANGUAGE['it.gnu.org']='it' -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (899, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) 79_initial_pages_virtual_host_localization.dpatch Description: application/shellscript
